As a Financial Analyst within the Trade Finance team, you will lead close and forecast activities for several Business Units while working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional partners. Your area of responsibility will be Trade Spending. Working as a key business partner, you will facilitate business strategies and goals by translating operating activities and results into business insights. **In this role, you will:**
**Key Responsibilities**
+ **Manage Trade Spending** - Own the trade budget for multiple business units, partnering with Sales and Accounting teams to monitor spending, identify risks and opportunities, and provide stakeholder training.
+ **Lead Month-End Close Activities** - Ensure trade spending accounts are accurately reported and compliant with GAAP and corporate policies.
+ **Drive Forecasting & Planning** - Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and plan updates while analyzing variances and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance.
+ **Deliver Business Insights** - Partner with business leaders to support profitable growth through financial analysis, recommendations, and risk mitigation.
+ **Improve Processes & Controls** - Streamline financial processes, reporting tools, and systems while maintaining a strong control environment.
+ **Lead Special Projects** - Support finance transformation initiatives, including new systems, tools, and process improvements.
+ **Support Accounting Operations** - Prepare journal entries and assist with financial reporting activities as needed.

**What we look for:**

This role is responsible for evaluating and strengthening the organization's risk management, governance, and internal control processes. It provides assurance on operational effectiveness, financial reporting reliability, regulatory compliance, and the safeguarding of company assets.

+ Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of business operations and internal processes
+ Evaluate the reliability of financial and operational reporting
+ Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
+ Identify risks related to fraud, waste, or mismanagement and recommend mitigation actions
+ Provide advisory support to leadership on improving systems, controls, and business processes

+ 5+ years of Finance/Accounting and Internal Control related experience

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Fluent bilingual in Spanish and English required
+ Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills

This role goes beyond traditional sourcing - you will shape category strategy, drive innovation with suppliers, and leverage AI and digital tools to unlock value, strengthen resilience, and support sustainable growth.
**In this role, you will:**
**Lead Category Strategy**
+ Define and execute a **forward-looking category strategy** aligned with business priorities: cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability
+ Leverage **AI-driven insights and advanced analytics** to anticipate market trends, optimize sourcing decisions, and manage risk
+ Build long-term, strategic supplier partnerships that enable innovation and competitive advantage
**Drive Supplier Excellence**
