+ Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation, and determines project specifications such as cost, time, and sample requirements by analyzing client input, available supplemental data, and product construction.
+ Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites. Initiates communication with clients to promote and explain the benefits of new and existing services.
+ Follows up on contacts from clients.
+ Communicates with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures and requirements, convey project cost, and negotiate completion date and sample requirements.
+ Acts to address client concerns and to resolve client issues.
+ Provides technical assistance to clients in reference to product inspection and follow-up services.

+ Becomes familiar with applicable standards, company manuals and appropriate technical literature.
+ Examines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications.
+ Coordinates laboratory activities by preparing data sheets and instructions to technicians, scheduling and reviewing work of laboratory technicians and engineering assistants and establishing completion dates.
+ Coordinates administrative aspects of project management.
+ Serves as Project Handler of record as assigned.
+ Communicates project status and results to clients through frequent contact and by preparing reports.
+ Prepares Follow-Up Service Procedures and information pages. Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job.
+ Resolves engineering issues associated with Variation Notices by analyzing and reporting on the acceptability of the variations.
+ Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
+ Performs other duties as directed.

Support project setup, tracking, and closure activities. Coordinate timelines, documentation, and deliverables. Maintain accurate project records and systems.
Client Communication
Act as a key point of contact for administrative and coordination topics. Communicate project timelines, requirements, and updates. Follow up with clients regarding documentation, samples, and next steps. Escalate and help resolve client inquiries or issues.
Laboratory & Team Coordination
Schedule testing activities and track progress. Coordinate with laboratory technicians and engineering teams. Ensure tasks are completed according to planned timelines.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports. Ensure completeness and accuracy of files and records.
Support the preparation of follow-up documentation and service procedures.
Process Support & Continuous Improvement
Assist in improving administrative workflows and project processes. Support tracking and handling of project changes (e.g., variations or updates).
Compliance & Procedures
Follow company policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct. Ensure proper handling of sensitive information and documentation.
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (administration, business, or related fields preferred) in a related discipline plus two years related work experience.
+ Experience in project coordination, administration, or operations support.
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
+ Good communication skills and client-oriented mindset.
+ High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation.
+ Basic understanding of technical environments (preferred, not required).

**The Role**

+ Asignar y dar seguimiento a las tareas para los encargados de área como armado de planogramas, acomodo de mercancías, limpieza de bodega, baños, comedor, piso de ventas, estacionamiento, además de revisar el conteo diario de los fondos monetarios de caja grande y realizando los barridos de efectivo así como los cortes de cajas al personal a su cargo siguiendo los procedimientos proporcionados por AutoZone.
+ Supervisar y asegurar que los Empleados usen el equipo de seguridad proporcionado por AutoZone como fajas, guantes, mandil y lentes al momento de trabajar en el acomodo de la mercancía, hacer alguna prueba en un vehículo o en las estaciones de prueba dentro de la tienda contribuyendo a evitar los accidentes de trabajo y garantizando un ambiente seguro para nuestros Empleados.

**Resumen del rol**
Liderar, desarrollar y ejecutar proyectos de automatización de alto volumen en equipos de manufactura. Dirige un equipo de ingenieros, gestiona todas las fases del ciclo de vida del proyecto, funge como experto técnico y colaborará con integradores externos para garantizar la introducción exitosa de nuevas tecnologías en las plantas.
**Tus responsabilidades incluirán**

**Requerimientos mínimos**
+ Título universitario en Ingeniería (Eléctrica, Mecánica, Mecatrónica, Automatización o campo afín).
+ Mas de 5 años de experiencia sólida en automatización industrial, preferentemente en entornos de manufactura de gran volumen.
+ Dominio comprobable en programación de PLC, HMI, robots, sistemas de visión y esquemas eléctricos.
+ Capacidad para liderar equipos técnicos y gestionar proyectos de manera simultánea.
+ Inglés nivel conversacional
**Habilidades y experiencia deseable**
+ Liderar y desarrollar a un equipo multidisciplinario de ingenieros de automatización y control.
+ Diseñar y mantener planes de capacitación y desarrollo profesional para el equipo de automatizacion.
+ Dirigir y participar activamente en todas las fases del proyecto: diseño, fabricación, instalación, arranque, capacitación del personal y mantenimiento a largo plazo.
+ Ejecutar y gestionar proyectos de forma integral, cumpliendo con los objetivos de tiempo y presupuesto, en un entorno de trabajo colaborativo con mínima supervisión
+ Proporcionar conocimientos expertos en control y mecánica para soportar la introducción de nuevos equipos, reducción de costos, mantenimiento y mejora de la productividad.
+ Funge como experto en la materia en temas de control (PLC, HMI, sistemas de vision, integracion de sensores, dispositivos electromecanicos, etc)
+ Solucionar problemas de automatización, resuelve inconvenientes del proyecto y desarrollar soluciones basadas en requisitos técnicos y de proceso.
+ Interactuar con integradores de sistemas externos y fabricantes de maquinaria para garantizar la entrega puntual y exitosa de equipos totalmente integrados.
