Responsibilities:
Implement work operation documents in the processes assigned at Amvian Mexico:
Responsible for flowcharts, PFEMA, standard operation sheets, poka-yoke, setup, and recording production line parameters.
Responsible for time tracking and capacity analysis based on production line balancing.
Implement process improvements to reduce PFEMA RPN and improve cycle time for the processes under their responsibility.
Responsible for defining and improving material flows and cyclical supply on the production line to achieve the line's production target.
Responsible for the layout and movements of the production line to improve flows and process efficiency.
Calculating the required MOD according to the production forecast for the areas under his responsibility.
Updating production targets, demonstrating cycle time, and implementing tools to improve processes and cycle time speed.
Verifying parameter lists and updating them if a change in the implementation of process improvements is approved.

The Technical Rotational AME will develop their skills while working with North American plants to launch, develop and implement best business practices, equipment, specifications, and training. They will learn and work to support the Injection Molding, Assembly, and Special Process facilities through hands on activities and will work towards developing the people, processes, procedures, and equipment used in our operations.
- The Technical Rotational AME will be responsible to work closely with the plant operations teams to determine and document best business practices and core manufacturing processes.
- The Emerging Talent AME will be expected to learn and eventually lead the application of BBP's, SES's, and CMP's within North American operations.
- The Emerging Talent AME will be expected to have some maintenance / troubleshooting experience and background within injection molding. The EDP AME should understand the injection molding process and the equipment used in that process.
- The Technical Rotational AME will be expected to be very hands on and will work with the plants to improve equipment related issues that are related to plant performance. They will be required to learn and prove they can evaluate equipment, make recommendations for improvement, and when applicable execute their own recommendations.
- The Technical Rotational AME will be responsible to learn and demonstrate how to quote and launch new injection molding, assembly, and/or special process equipment within North America.
- The Technical Rotational AME will be expected to learn and demonstrate how to help specify, purchase, and standard equipment.
- The Technical Rotational AME will need to work with the plants to identify capital improvement opportunities and develop justification. When applicable the Engineer will need to write an appropriations request, follow the request through the approval process, and help the plant implement.
- Understanding basic scientific molding principles along with the understanding of eDART and its related equipment is highly desirable.
- The Technical Rotational AME will have should have some experience with robotic part handling systems and the related maintenance that is required for optimal performance. The Engineer will be required to learn and demonstrate robot optimization through hands on programming.
- The Technical Rotational AME should have experience with Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.

Job Summary
- Talks with customers by phone or in person and receives orders for installation, turn on, discontinuance, or change in services - Fills out contract forms, determines charges for service requested, collects deposits, prepares change of address records, and issues discontinuance orders - Solicits sale of new or additional services - Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation. - Visits customers at their place of residence to investigate conditions preventing completion of service connection orders and to obtain contract and deposit when service is being used without contract. - Work closely with production management and line supervisors to determine status of parts needed and if necessary, communicate with customers any concerns that may arise from production or shipping problems. - Work daily with the SAP system to review customer needs and report weekly needs of customers. - Continuously monitor DDL system for all production and service parts to ensure proper safety inventories are being maintained. - Assist in shipping functions when necessary. - Record and enter customer orders that are not EDI. - Enter purchase request orders and packing slip data into XPPS. - Retrieval and information gathering in using customer DDL and SMART systems
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree; or three to five years customer service related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Lotus Notes Contact Management systems Internet software and Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word Processing software.
