Responsabilidades Principales

1. Evaluación de Aplicaciones Legacy

  • Proponer una arquitectura moderna basada en Java Spring Boot, microservicios y APIs RESTful
  • Rediseñar modelos de datos y estructuras que optimicen el rendimiento y escalabilidad
  • Establecer mecanismos de integración robustos mediante middleware, colas de mensajes (Kafka, RabbitMQ), o APIs

4. Desarrollo y Reingeniería de Componentes

  • Asegurar la preservación de la lógica de negocio durante la reingeniería de componentes clave
  • Aprovechar frameworks de Java como Spring Security, Hibernate, entre otros
  • Implementar pipelines de CI/CD para automatizar pruebas, integraciones y despliegues continuos

5. Seguridad y Cumplimiento

  • Garantizar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad bancaria y regulaciones como ISO 27001, OWASP y PCI-DSS
  • Diseñar e implementar esquemas robustos de autenticación/autorización con OAuth2, JWT o SAML
  • Asegurar la protección de datos sensibles y cumplimiento de normativas locales e internacionales

6. Gestión de Infraestructura en la Nube y Contenedores

  • Liderar la migración de aplicaciones hacia entornos cloud (AWS, Azure o GCP)

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

As a Solutions Architect Associate, you will play a key role in supporting solution design and implementation for Boldr and our clients. You'll participate in discovery sessions, document workflows, and contribute to solution proposals under the guidance of senior architects.

This is a hybrid role where you'll build skills in both strategic and technical areas: process mapping, requirements gathering, tool configuration, and project coordination. You'll help ensure that client needs are translated into clear, actionable implementation plans and that solutions are delivered smoothly and efficiently.

This role is designed for someone eager to grow into a senior architect position over time by gaining exposure to client-facing solution design, workflow optimization, and automation strategy.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

Client Discovery & Solution Support

  • Participate in client discovery sessions to gather requirements and document existing workflows.
  • Support senior architects in preparing solution documentation, project plans, and client-facing materials.
  • Assist with technology evaluations by researching tools and comparing features to requirements.
  • Contribute to solution walkthroughs, proposals, and presentations.

Workflow Mapping & Implementation

  • Document and maintain workflow maps, process diagrams, and system requirements.
  • Assist in configuring and testing CRM, helpdesk, and automation platforms to ensure solutions work as designed.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and suggest opportunities for improvement or automation.
  • Maintain internal knowledge bases, SOPs, and training resources.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Implementation Specialists to hand off detailed requirements and monitor delivery.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure adoption and understanding of implemented solutions.
  • Support project tracking, reporting, and communication across stakeholders.

As a Technical Account Manager or Customer Solutions Engineer (CSE), which is how the role is called internally, you will be the trusted technical advisor throughout a customer’s lifecycle. You are a product expert and will leverage your knowledge to ensure our Enterprise customers understand and utilize the Cloudflare platform to its fullest extent. Your goal is to help customers be successful and derive the most value possible from their Cloudflare investment.

As a CSE, you strive to understand customer requirements and issues at the molecular level. No matter your background, you have natural curiosity and desire to identify root causes of strange problems and the most elegant and efficient solutions. Fundamentally, you are enamored with how the internet works.

You will work closely with the Customer Success Manager (CSM) as well as every other team at Cloudflare, from Sales and Product to Engineering and Customer Support. Customer success will drive you through the entire organization as you seek out and implement scalable solutions for your customer’s needs.

Responsibilities

As a critical member of the Account Team you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, help expand existing business, and ensure the success of our customers:

  • You will be part of a regional team and will work closely with CSMs supporting the regional book of business
  • From a technical perspective, as part of the account team, your primary responsibilities will be to deliver a timely and organized onboarding and guidance for customers, ensure customers see the full value in Cloudflare's products, and advise on technical best practices
  • Ensure customer retention and expansion through relationship building and participation in periodic account reviews to contribute your expertise on technical topics
  • Provide customers with clear proactive technical guidance and expertise across all our products
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to assist with technical escalations
  • Proactively identify opportunities for expansion for existing customers
  • Promote retention by capturing and communicating gaps in product or features
  • Contribute towards the success of the CS organization through knowledge-sharing activities such as contributing to internal and external documentation, answering technical Q&A, and helping iterate on best practices
  • The role requires 10-30% travel to attend meetings with customers, attend conferences, and other industry events, and to collaborate with your Cloudflare teammates

Experiences might include a combination of the skills below:

  • 100% Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken.) Portuguese or French are desired but not necessary.
  • 5-8 years of prior post-sales customer relationship management
  • Deep understanding of how the internet works and the desire to expand that knowledge. For example:
  • Layers and protocols of the OSI model, such as TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, HTTP
  • Reverse and forward proxies and the applications of both
  • Security aspects of an internet property, such as Firewalls, WAFs, Bot Management, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust
  • Performance aspects of an internet property, such as Speed, Latency, Caching, HTTP/2, TLSv1.3
  • Enjoying the adventure of troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Understanding why Cloudflare plays an increasingly important role on today’s internet
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems then build sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Technical curiosity and passion: Cloudflare is at the cutting edge of internet technology, and our CSEs are viewed as subject-matter experts. It’s incumbent on us to stay up to date not only with Cloudflare’s specific products, but with industry trends.
  • Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years as a hands-on Solutions Architect and/or Data Engineer designing and implementing data solutions
  • Team lead, and/or mentorship of other engineers
  • Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions into production — and to help ensure performance, security, scalability, and robust data integration.
  • Programming expertise in Java, Python and/or Scala
  • Core cloud data platforms including Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks and GCP
  • SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize SQL queries
  • Client-facing written and verbal communication skills and experience
  • Create and deliver detailed presentations
  • Detailed solution documentation (e.g. including POCS and roadmaps, sequence diagrams, class hierarchies, logical system views, etc.)
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Production experience in core data platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Azure, GCP, Hadoop, Databricks
  • Cloud and Distributed Data Storage: S3, ADLS, HDFS, GCS, Kudu, ElasticSearch/Solr, Cassandra or other NoSQL storage systems
  • Data integration technologies: Spark, Kafka, event/streaming, Streamsets, Matillion, Fivetran, NiFi, AWS Data Migration Services, Azure DataFactory, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Google DataProc or other data integration technologies
  • Multiple data sources (e.g. queues, relational databases, files, search, API)
  • Complete software development lifecycle experience including design, documentation, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Automated data transformation and data curation: dbt, Spark, Spark streaming, automated pipelines
  • Workflow Management and Orchestration: Airflow, AWS Managed Airflow, Luigi, NiFi

About the Role

As a Solutions Architect, you will be a recognized expert who advises our customers. You will develop cloud migration, modernization, and multicloud acumen to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of cloud services. You will understand cloud economics to drive the highest value for our customers.

Ideal candidates have deep expertise with multiple public cloud providers and a desire to stay current on new offerings and the latest industry developments. They must have the technical depth and business experience to easily communicate the benefits of cloud services to IT architects, engineering teams, and C-Level executives. They must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and think strategically to solve complex business and technical problems. They must have the inclination to share their insights, and educate peers to foster a technical community of SMEs. In addition, candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical expert in cloud technologies, supporting customers with complex commercial and technical challenges.
  • Stay up-to-date with cloud service offerings to extract technical and business insights that drive reference architectures, runbooks, blogs, and training content.
  • Deliver technical and business presentations to internal audiences (field SAs, BDMs, consultants, and product engineering) and external audiences (industry and partner events).
  • Work with customers and internal teams to create Proof of Concept (POCs), pilots, and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that demonstrate solutions designed for successful deployment and operationalization in the cloud.
  • Autonomously manage a broad pipeline of technical engagements requiring bias to action, swift delivery, and frequent reprioritization.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures
  • 4+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
  • 2-4 years of enterprise technology experience
  • 2-4 years experience with GCP
  • 2 years experience architecting cloud solutions in (AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP)
  • 2 years in a customer facing role
  • Demonstrate strong customer focus and ownership
  • Have foundational cloud certifications or be able to achieve within 90 days
  • Computer Science/Technical degree or equivalent experience
Desirable Qualifications
  • Broad technology experience across cloud architecture, applications development, relational databases, NoSQL databases, analytics, machine learning, networking, security, storage, DevOps, containers, serverless, CI/CD, cloud migrations, or IT transformations
  • Sound business judgment with proven ability to influence business stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end solution design for POS, checkout, and payment processing systems across stores, mobile, and e-commerce.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical architectures, integration designs, and system blueprints.
  • Define data flows, API specifications, and event-driven patterns for transactions, settlements, loyalty, and fraud detection.
