Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the data science consultant for Blue Yonder Supply Chain Planning solution implementations for customers across the Americas region.

In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products, such as Luminate Demand Edge, Luminate Store Fulfillment as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.

The Data Science Consultant provides services that maximize the value of the customer’s business through data-driven insights and enhanced decision support. This role will be responsible for advising the customer and recommending software configuration alternatives and implementing the software that is configured to optimize the solution so that the customer may realize the maximum value from the software.

What you’ll do:

- Provide analytical services as part of a team conducting proofs-of-concept and identifying opportunities to create customer value
- Perform data analysis to discover patterns, trends and anomalies in customer data, translate the results into actionable insights, and present results and recommendations to support customers in improving their data quality
- Extract and present data stories from customer data sets to demonstrate value of solution and guide the customer in their priorities
- Build, configure and train models to support overall project objectives, and run simulations and what-if analyses to evaluate alternative scenarios
- Support the successful delivery of the solution to the customer by making recommendations and providing quantitative evidence of the project’s results
- Work as part of a highly motivated, interdisciplinary, and agile team.

What are we looking for:

- Graduate degree in Operations Research, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, is preferred, Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience working on AI/ML projects is acceptable in lieu of a graduate degree.
- Ability to elicit customers’ knowledge, both explicit and tacit, about business objectives, strategic concerns, and policies related to the scope and success of the project.
- Able to translate complex data into business insights and opportunities to create value.

**Descripción de puesto**:
Explotar la información disponible de la CdS para generar insights accionables de negocio.
Desarrollar Capabilities de análisis de datos en la CdS.

**Principales responsabilidades**:
1. Ser punto de enlace entre diferentes áreas, para apoyar el crecimiento conjunto de CdS en temas de analíticos.
2. Fungir como Traductor de requerimientos operativos / de negocio a desarrollos tecnológicos
3. Conceptualizar ideas y ejecutar a través de soluciones basadas en data
4. Atender necesidades de data visualization.
5. Identificar y mapear fuentes de datos para crear consultas/procedimientos de extracción apropiados
6. Automatización de procesos de datos: migrar de fuentes de datos manuales a servidores, PBI, alertas, etc.
7. Análisis de datos y lógica a través de lenguaje de programación (Python).
8. Diseñar y desarrollar modelos predictivos estadísticos y algoritmos prescriptivos (usando Inteligencia Artificial) basados en las necesidades del negocio. Validar y mejorar modelos a través de la experimentación.
9. Formular hipótesis y predicciones comprobables. Diseñar experimentos y esquemas de muestreo que incluyan recopilación de datos, pruebas de hipótesis y conclusiones traducidas a insights accionables de negocio.
10. Utilizar los datos disponibles de manera eficaz para encontrar tendencias, valores atípicos y patrones así como crear modelos de regresión, pronósticos y otros análisis interpretativos para resolver diferentes casos de negocio, con la finalidad de entregar conclusiones relevantes para apoyar la correcta toma de decisiones dirigida por datos.
11. Generar aplicaciones y herramientas para pruebas de concepto/pilotos de ciclo rápido.
12. Desarrollo de soluciones digitales, tales como aplicaciones y procesos de trabajo automatizados con la finalidad de mejorar el flujo de la información en la organización.
