Supply Chain & Inventory Planner Specialist

What You'll Do

• Manage Stock Equation - includes demand projections of finished goods and components, inventory management, PO placing, and monitoring inventory levels.
• COGs updates, when necessary.
• Manage product transitions on BOM and with fulfillment locations
• Monitor and communicate out-of-stock risks
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and communicate the estimated impact.
• PO placement & receipt in Inventory Management System (Unleashed)
• With the support of the logistics department, coordinate shipping and inventory transfers.
• Reconcile and approve invoices.
• Inventory:
• Stock level monitoring at all locations.
• Weekly inventory reconciliation, analysis, and proactive communication for PO placements and/or inventory transfers if necessary.
• Monthly inventory value reporting (global and by location)
• Vendor Management:
• Maintain productive vendor relationships
• Communicate production demand
• Send agenda and run weekly vendor meetings
• Sourcing:
  Search and propose various item options. Provide comparison charts (pricing,
• MOQ, etc).
• SKU Management
  : Efficiently overseeing a large number of SKUs across multiple brands, ensuring optimal product availability and diversity.
• Purchasing Planning
  : Provide informed recommendations on purchasing quantities based on inventory analysis and demand forecasts.
• Reporting and Data Analysis:
  Regularly generate reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and related metrics. Utilize data analytics to identify trends and inform inventory planning decisions.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with departments such as finance and marketing to ensure inventory plans align with overall business objectives and market trends.

What You Need

• 5+ years of inventory planning within the consumer goods sector.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software. Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective internal coordination and external client relations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strategic thinker with a focus on balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key job responsibilities

• Execute the SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the WePay program and review the results with local stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2+ years' work experience in logistics/ transportation industry.
• Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, VLookUps, programming with macros and/or visual basic).
• Data management, Vendor management, Transportation & Logistics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal-External stakeholder management, Data analysis, negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.
• Expertise in SQL logical programming language.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Specialist to manage local suppliers for our power distribution products . This role involves close coordination with suppliers management, production, and finance to ensure material availability, quality, and timely payments in support of manufacturing operations in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop suppliers resources and execute purchase orders and contracts promptly based on approved requisitions.
2. Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery in line with the production schedule.
3. Communicate and resolve material quality issues, including handling returns and replacements.

Job Summary

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for working in close partnership with procurement, planning, supplier development, logistics, product management and IT to improve the supply chain operations. The Analyst is responsible for data gathering (extract, entry, sorting, filtering, etc.), in-depth analysis and reporting in support of the Supply Chain department. The incumbent uses quantitative and analytical approaches to draw and represent data in a usable format for decision making by the team. The position plays a critical role in identifying opportunities to add value to the supply chain, pursue improved or new functionality, and drive continuous improvement across the entire business supply chain.

Technical Knowledge:

• Minimum 3 years of supply chain, manufacturing, or equivalent management experience in a fast-paced, discrete, multi-process environment.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in ERP (Oracle preferred) and/or MRP systems.
• High degree of skill level in usage of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain & Logistics, or Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning or related roles within manufacturing organizations.
• Experience in Power BI, statistical applications, logistics software packages is preferred.
• Experience in any functions of the Supply Chain (Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Shipping and Logistics, Receiving) is a plus. Experience and/or demonstrated understanding of internal customer requirements at a manufacturing facility is a plus.
