Solventum Purification & Filtration business
We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific. This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, receipt of regulatory approvals, and country specific information and consultation needs where required. The impact you will have in this role:
The Import-Export Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all import and export operations of a company. This includes managing documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and optimizing shipment schedules and costs. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of international trade laws, shipping procedures, and customs regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Import/Export Operations:
Oversee international shipments and documentation to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. - Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to customs regulations, trade laws, and internal policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes. - External Coordination:
Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and authorities to resolve delays and maintain supply flow. - Team Supervision:
Train and oversee import/export staff. Drive improvements in customs processes and ensure team alignment with updated regulations. - Cost Management:
Monitor logistics expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. - Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain audit-ready records and prepare reports on logistics performance and costs. - OS&D Support (Overages, Shortages & Damages):
Lead issue resolution and implement corrective actions to reduce discrepancies. - ERP & Customs Systems:
Act as a key user of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and customs platforms (e.g., VUCEM, Annex 24/31). - Audits & Evaluations:
Conduct monthly evaluations of customs brokers in Mexico and monitor corporate customs KPIs. - Trade Compliance:
Support trade compliance initiatives and regulatory reporting for international operations.
Your Skills and Expertise :
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, International Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years in import/export logistics and customs management.
- Knowledge of customs and tax laws, tariff classification, customs audits, and advanced Excel/data analysis.
- Advanced English

- Mastery of customs clearance procedures, tariff classification and documentary requirements.

**Position Summary**
The People Support Analyst is a key member of our global team, responsible for delivering global Tier 1 HR support. This role provides specialized guidance on global HR policies and processes, promotes employee self-service, and partners with other global and regional People Support team members to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery. **Key Responsibilities**

Technical Alignment: Work closely with product engineering, quality, validation, and manufacturing teams to ensure test strategy aligns with business goals and product lifecycle
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the technical point of contact for leadership, suppliers, and internal teams regarding test equipment roadmap, capabilities, and progress updates
Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide a team of engineers (electrical, mechanical, software), promoting skill development and knowledge sharing around test engineering practices and standards
Process Improvement: Establish and enforce design guidelines, deployment workflows, and documentation practices to continuously improve the quality and consistency of test systems
Supplier & Technology Management: Evaluate and approve key components, technologies, and vendors used in test system development and implementation
Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure all deployed systems comply with electrical safety standards (e.g., UL, CE), factory requirements, and applicable industry regulations
**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**
Software development (LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, SQL Server)
Proven experience in electrical design (schematics, safety, power distribution)
Mechanical design knowledge (fixtures, enclosures, automation elements)
Project & Leadership Skills: Experience managing complex projects and leading diverse technical teams across multiple locations.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with engineering teams, leadership, and vendors.
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred

**Job Summary**
As a Buyer at our company, your responsibilities are to maintain procurement of materials according to the requisitions created by the planner, buyer is the main point of contact between suppliers and operations. You will create and acknowledge PO's, manage information accuracy of all purchase orders released and open for metrics traceability and visibility to the rest of organization. Informing about any supplier missed delivery and performance issues to Operations and Tactical Sourcing. Following supplier shipments until material is delivered to the Facility dock and receipt is processed in system according to supplier documentation. Following invoice payment to be on time. Buyer contributions will impact direct to production efficiency as well meet supplier strategies indicated by Sourcing Corporate, and maintain a healthy supplier relationship.
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities**
+ Analyze 3 month materials needs, identify any supply risk, work to expedite, communication to operations and escalations to Sourcing
+ Follow up open POs according to need dates or supplier promise date, monitor shipment progress, cross border and entry of receipt
+ Responsible to convert to Purchase Orders the material requisitions created or released by the planner
+ Ensure Supplier PO Knowledge and communicate delivery dates through the system or any other method
+ Execute planner needs for material procurement (pull in / push out / cancel ) and communicate results to planner
+ Track and fix receiving material hold (Quarantine)
+ Purchase parts from suppliers
+ Execute and manage Phase in/ Phase out according instructions from Planning and Sourcing as well communicate demand expectations to suppliers.
+ Track and fix invoices hold (AMP Market Place)
+ Execute material deviations approved by engineering when there are supplier delivery issues Execute Open market research, analyze PPV and execute according approvals from Sourcing
