Job Description:

1. Review customer demand and formulate production plan

2. Create, review and manage Work Order and related changes as per the latest production plan and material status

3. Optimize production efficiency by properly planning Work Orders, production lines, and shifts

4. Track and monitor the execution of Work Order and adjust production plan to reduce inefficiency

5. Support MES data maintenance (e.g. MAC)

6. Review and execute engineering changes in Work Order

7. Interlock with production team, quality, engineering, and other SCM members to achieve productivity goals and timely fulfill the orders

8. Align with sales team on capacity, material readiness and resource limitations to set a commonly agreed goal of production

9. Review and analyze material supply status as per the latest production plan and Work Order execution

10. Monitor material shortage cases and the relevant recovery status

11. Coordinate with Import/Export, logistics, overseas MC and local buyer team to ensure the timely delivery of materials

12. Resolve production/ material planning issues

13. Report major supply risks to the management


Requirement:

1.College graduate with 5 years of relevant planning experience in the electronics manufacturing sector

2.Maquiladora experience is a huge plus

3.Strong communication skills

4.Ability to Read, Write, Speak, and Listen in English

5.Mastering in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Education/Certifications:

Experience:

The Vapotherm Tijuana Document Control Associate is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in document control. Assisting with change control activities. Maintain the operation of the document control procedure to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Implement and maintain compliance with training activities. The Document Control Associate requires an engineering background, written and verbal fluency in Spanish and English at a B1 level or higher.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution.
  • Perform basic Engineering activities like changing engineering documents (Drawings, SOPs, WIs) to support engineering teams.
  • Create ECO and other change objects in various file formats (Word, Excel, Access, Solidworks, etc) .
  • Basic interpretation of specification documents like drawings.
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
  • Provide support to Quality Inspector Team as needed.
  • Compliance with all personnel policies.
  • Ensure compliance by the organization of all documents, through document changes processes.
  • Manage, maintain and ensure compliance of training records for the plant in Mexico.
  • Provide basics trainings for new employees.
  • Perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary (file, scan, update logs, etc.)


Position Requirements - Education, Knowledge, Years of Experience, etc.

  • 3+ years’ experience in the Medical Device industry, preferably in Document Control team or Quality Team
  • Verbal and written communication Spanish and English at B1 level or higher
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office
  • Excellent computer and typing skills
  • Must have attention to detail and highly organized
  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Must be able to alternate walking, standing and sitting during shift.
  • Must be able to perform frequent execution of repetitive motion, lifting supplies, file boxes and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to consistently wear clean room clothing during shift including, but not limited to jacket, safety glasses and hair net.
