IMPACT AND OPPORTUNITY


Implement an inventory plan for assigned product lines based on demand, actual orders, cumulative lead times, variability, and available inventory. Ensure the continuous and efficient supply of finished goods to customers through effective inventory supply planning.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Maintain required raw material volumes according to the forecast displayed in SAP.

• Maintain parameters for all raw material part numbers in SAP.

• Coordinate the delivery of urgent material and ensure its arrival in the production area.

• Generate and issue weekly delivery schedules to suppliers and confirm their receipt.

• Confirm that suppliers submit the required demand in a timely manner.

• Monitor material in transit and inform the group of any delays.

• Inform the group if any supplier is experiencing difficulties delivering parts to review the impact on production and the end customer.

• Maintain, evaluate, and analyze the daily raw material inventory report.

• Monitor premium freight from suppliers.

• Actively participate in departmental meetings.

• Communicate with the Engineering, Quality, and Program Management departments regarding engineering changes.

• Communicate with the Purchasing Department regarding pricing, supplier evaluations, contracts, supplier capacity shortages, and delivery issues.

• Create Terms of Reference (TORs) if necessary.

• Actively participate in new program launch activities.

• Ensure schedule agreements are in place, parameters are updated, and communications are sent to suppliers on time for new raw materials and inform the team if there are any delivery issues.

• Record and report the data required for the weekly KPI review.

• Actively participate in continuous improvement projects assigned to the department.

• Record the daily/weekly/monthly reports required for the position.

• Responsible for understanding and meeting specific customer requirements with a Zero Defects goal in mind.

• Process Approach: Manages with a process approach to achieve objectives. This involves understanding, defining, and managing processes with a focus on PDCA and Prevention.

• Risk Planning and Analysis: Uses risk-based thinking with their team and functions. This involves risk identification, cause and consequence analysis, risk level assessment, and treatment, documenting the above as evidence of control. (Applicable to IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001)

• Life Cycle Perspective: Ensures environmental aspects are identified throughout their area, considering process inputs and outputs.

• Participate in and comply with the requirements of the IATF 16949 quality management system and the ISO 14001/ISO 45001 environmental management system applicable to their position. Prepare evidence of compliance and support audits.
