Role Purpose:
This is a key production support role for IT to maintain our critical Fraud systems. ITSO (IT Service Owner) is responsible for responding effectively for disaster recovery (DRE) plans, dates and coordination with US Vendors. Acting as a communication point and L3 engineer with local team and US Vendors
Main Activities
- Coordination of Disaster Recovery (DRE) plans – Works with vendors/HSBC technical resources (network team, developers)/business teams to develop a plan to align with scheduled Disaster Recovery dates. Also provide support during HSBC and Vendor DREs
- Supporting annual network certificate renewal activities by coordinating between vendor, network and business teams for scheduled events
- Maintain our critical Fraud systems. ITSO is responsible for maintaining all governance aspects of internal HSBC repositories (EIM), policies (ITSA/NFR) disaster recovery (DRE)
- Role location is in Mexico, but team is geographically dispersed with other team members in India, UK and US, and regional teams located in Hong Kong and Mexico.

Responsabilidades clave en pruebas de integración de APIs y validación de seguridad
- Diseñar, desarrollar y ejecutar planes y casos de prueba para integración de APIs REST y SOAP críticos.
- Integración con infraestructura existente y procesos internos.
- Validar el cumplimiento de estándares de seguridad (autenticación, autorización, cifrado, manejo de tokens, etc.) en las APIs. Así como gestión de vulnerabilidades y cumplimiento normativo.
- Identificar, reportar y dar seguimiento a incidencias relacionadas con la seguridad de aplicaciones y la comunicación entre APIs.
- Utilizar herramientas como Postman, Swagger SoapUI, JMeter o similares para pruebas de APIs y automatización de pruebas.
- Saber realizar reemplazo de una solución crítica (CBK de FIS) con una herramienta propietaria.
- Elaborar y mantener documentación técnica alineada a estándares institucionales.
- Participar en sesiones de revisión y mejora continua de estrategias de prueba y seguridad.
Requisitos para vacante de Tester de APIs e Integración con enfoque en Seguridad
- Licenciatura en Ingeniería en Sistemas, Informática, Tecnologías de la Información o carrera afín concluida (no estudiantes).
- Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en ejecución de pruebas funcionales y de integración de APIs, REST/SOAP.
- Experiencia comprobable en validación de estándares de seguridad (OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, manejo de tokens y headers).
- Manejo de herramientas de gestión y automatización de pruebas de APIs (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, JMeter u otras equivalentes).
- Capacidad para documentar y validar escenarios de consumo de servicios externos.
- Disponibilidad de acudir a oficina cuando se solicite en CDMX.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, architecture definition, IT planning, risk technology, vulnerabilities, applications development and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas.

+ Strong analytical and quantitative skills; Data driven and results-oriented.
+ Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
+ Expertise in building solutions with domain driven design (DDD), API, microservices, Openshift, Apigee, event-driven architecture and cloud native principles
+ Expertise in modern languages (e.g. Java 11,17 and 21), messaging, integration and data streaming technologies (e,g, Kafka, MQ etc.), caching & database (RDBMS and NoSQL) tools, application development framework (e.g. Spring boot), well architected framework, data integration solutions, software architecture patterns and tools.
+ Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
+ Expertise working or leading requirement gathering efforts for multiple large development projects at one-time.
