About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, growth-minded Software Engineer to drive digital transformation and contribute to the integration of advanced technologies such as AI and IoT into innovative initiatives across Latin America. This role will participate in the full software development lifecycle, coordinating with internal teams and external providers to deliver scalable software solutions that enhance business processes, products, and services.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate project deliverables
- Map and re-engineer processes, products, or solutions with efficient digital processes.
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI, IoT, and data-driven technologies into projects.
- Design, code, test, and deploy software applications aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure software is secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in software development roles.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and programming languages (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Solid understanding of software architecture, databases, system integration, and cybersecurity.
- Experience coordinating software development projects and working with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Fluency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
- Optional: Experience in IoT & Smart Systems, AI/ML Engineering, SaaS platforms, or Open Innovation Collaboration.

Deseable experiencia en:
- Elaborar el anteproyecto de presupuesto y el programa de trabajo del área de TI.

Responsabilidades:

- Revisión de código, soporte en mejoras de procesos y definición de requisitos.

Requirements:
- Título universitario en Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica, Mecatrónica, Computación o afines.
- Conocimientos en programación en C y C++ para sistemas embebidos.
- Bases de sistemas embebidos, firmware, Embedded Linux y RTOS.
- Experiencia (académica o práctica) con microcontroladores y microprocesadores (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) e integración HW-SW.
- Capacidad de interpretación de esquemáticos electrónicos y datasheets.
- Conocimiento de periféricos de microcontroladores y protocolos de comunicación (ADC, PWM, Bootloaders, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
- Habilidades básicas de depuración de hardware con osciloscopios, analizadores lógicos y multímetros.
- Nivel de inglés: intermedio-avanzado (lectura técnica, comunicación escrita y oral en entornos técnicos).

- Uso de herramientas de CI/CD (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Experiencia con Yocto Project / BitBake recipes.
