The Equipment Maintenance Engineer is responsible for checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures to ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
**General Responsibilities**
+ Leads electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
+ Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
+ Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
+ Leads rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required. May perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
**Experience / Qualifications**
+ A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Objetivo : Brindar soporte a los consumidores de las áreas de productos industriales en tareas como: preinstalación, instalación, visitas de inspección, visitas de control, pruebas y seguimiento, configuración, asesoría de color, asesoría operativa, entrenamiento, mantenimiento correctivo y mantenimiento preventivo.


Principales Responsabilidades:


  1. Analizar fallas de los productos industriales (textiles) y otorgar soporte en sitio y remoto, de acuerdo con las necesidades del negocio.
  2. Documentar todas las actividades de servicio y reparación, además del envío formal de los informes a los clientes y equipos internos.
  3. Devolver piezas al almacén cuando sea necesario de acuerdo con los procedimientos del país.
  4. Realizar visitas de preinstalación e instalación de productos industriales documentándolos de acuerdo con el formato preestablecido vigente.
  5. Realizar capacitaciones con las áreas y equipos de mantenimiento y producción de los clientes
  6. Brindar capacitación de servicio a proveedores de servicio y socios de acuerdo con la necesidad el negocio
  7. Aplicar la teoría de electromecánica, de impresión y teoría de color, incluido el conocimiento de RIP y la capacidad de crear perfiles con la instalación, resolución de problemas y reparación de fallas en el equipo.
  8. Identificar posibles problemas de insatisfacción de clientes y resolverlos o escalarlos según sea necesario.
  9. Realizar tareas de acción preventivas de la base instalada de equipos industriales, mediante la revisión diaria del ERMS



Formación y requisitos


  • Experiencia mínima de 2 años brindado soporte a impresoras de gran formato
  • Conocimientos eléctricos y electrónicos.
  • Conocimiento de teoría del color, RIPs, flujos de trabajo y diseño
  • Experiencia en el manejo de equipos de 3-5 Toneladas.
  • Manejo de Herramienta manual, y electrónica
  • Deseable experiencia dando soporte a productos Epson
  • Disponibilidad para viajar
  • Inglés conversacional

En este puesto, un día típico será así:

  • Administrar una cuenta de cliente en su totalidad. Determinar cómo Videojet puede aumentar el valor en todo su negocio al ofrecer otros servicios.
  • Resolver de forma completa e integral las Órdenes de Servicio, para la posterior recuperación de conceptos cobrables, derivados de la atención al Cliente,
  • Captura de información en el Software de Gestión de Servicios y cierre de tickets asignados,
  • Verificación oportuna y pronta de repuestos utilizados en mantenimiento y envío de reporte de servicio al área de Help Desk para firma del cliente
  • Asesoría técnica vía telefónica y en sitio, reparación y reacondicionamiento de equipos propiedad de la empresa.

Los requisitos indispensables del puesto incluyen:

  • Licenciatura en Ingeniería Electrónica, Control y Automatización, Mecatrónica y/o Ingeniero Electricista, etc.
  • INGLÉS: nivel medio-técnico de la industria
  • 2 a 3 años de experiencia en Atención al Cliente, Soporte Técnico y mantenimiento de diversos equipos industriales dentro de las instalaciones del cliente.
  • Manejo de almacén e inventario.
  • En el día a día, se requiere levantar hasta 50 libras por el trabajo realizado con los equipos y estar de pie, levantar, estirarse, agacharse y ponerse en cuclillas durante la jornada.
