The IT Network Engineer provides on-site IP network support for AVEVA office in Mexico City and remote support for other AVEVA global offices.
You will implement and support network and security infrastructures and services in a large enterprise.
This is a mid-level network engineering position with terrific opportunity for the candidate to gain experience in IP networking and cyber security.
**Responsibilities - You will do:**
+ Helping implement new networks, hardware upgrades and hardware replacement.
+ Implementing network infrastructure changes, including Moves, Adds and Changes.
+ Performing software upgrades and patching management activities on network devices such as routers and switches, and on security appliances such as firewalls and Web Applications firewalls.
+ Troubleshooting and resolving network and application problems reported.
+ Responding to service requests submitted by end users. Review and assign requests to other team members or, where appropriate, implement the requested service.
+ Managing incident and service requests according to established processes and escalate incident tickets to third-party service providers or to Senior Network Engineers.
+ Helping update network monitoring tools by following approved processes as well as helping maintain documents and data associated with network infrastructures and services such as CMDB, FAQ, helpdesk scripts and detailed network designs.
+ Accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
+ Provide on-call coverage as a member of a team providing 24x7 support.
**Skills and qualifications - You will have:**
+ 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting IP networks
+ Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN and WiFi technologies and protocols
+ Good understanding of routing, switching, and security fundamentals such as firewalls, including working with firewall rules and configuration
+ Good understanding of networking concepts, including topics covered in Cisco CCNA
+ Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues and MS Windows operating system, including troubleshooting
+ Experience working with ServiceNow or other similar platforms
+ Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
+ Network design experience

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. **Role Purpose**
Corning has an immediate opening for a motivated Junior Network Security Engineer with networking or firewall experience to join Corning's Global Cybersecurity Operations organization. **Key Responsibilities**
+ Physically install and connect firewalls and other security appliances based on documented procedures.
+ Install the latest vendor-approved stable firmware on appliances as required.

We are seeking a Greenfield Network Automation Engineer to design and build automation from the ground up for Arista-based environments.
Position Summary/Job Description
The role will architect and implement playbooks, frameworks, and automated test suites that provision, monitor, and validate large-scale network topologies running Arista EOS. This is a hands-on role spanning software engineering, network engineering, and DevOps owning the full SDLC, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and establishing the standards, controls, and telemetry needed for a high-scale, secure automation platform. Additional Responsibilities
- Design & Build Greenfield Automation

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
**Role Purpose**
The Senior Network Security Engineer will work on various aspects of cloud security, including web filtering policy enforcement, firewall, browser isolation, sandboxing, and data loss prevention. is responsible for assessing network security requirements, developing the design and implementation plans for new solutions to secure the enterprise network from security threats and unauthorized access through the competent assessment engineer network security appliances and applications. The Network Security Engineer possesses an expert knowledge of network design, technologies, systems, and protocols.will Using your knowledge and experience in Zscaler, you'll assess, identify gaps and develop controls to mitigate security threats and manage infrastructure controls. In this role, you'll have a significant impact on our clients' security infrastructure and controls.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Evaluate the network security requirements for existing, new, and emerging technologies
+ Design, plan, install, and configure Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Zscaler product deployments (including Advanced Cloud Firewall, ZCC, ZCF, and proxy services)
+ Design, plan, and deploy Zero Trust and micro segmentation agents
+ Design, plan, and install site to site VPNs
+ Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate perimeter and edge security services with existing infrastructure
+ Maintain up to date knowledge of Zscaler products and services to recommend upgrades and enhancements
+ Design, plan, install, and secure AWS and Azure cloud service networks and connectivity
+ Provide advanced troubleshooting support and critical incident response support
+ Lead migration and IT modernization projects
+ Develop and implement vulnerability remediation solutions and harden network defenses
+ Ensure the overall security of the enterprise network perimeter and isolated segments
+ Generate network and traffic flow diagrams

+ Tool-specific certifications (Zscaler ZDTA, ZDTE, ZDXA, Palo Alto Next Generation Firewall Engineer, Network Security Analyst)

Your New Role:
As a Senior Network Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and enhancing the performance, security, and integrity of the organization's network infrastructure. You will provide high-level technical support, lead problem-solving efforts, and contribute to strategic network planning and implementation projects.
Your Role Accountabilities:
OPERATIONS/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
+ Network Monitoring and Maintenance (40%) - Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of network systems to prevent potential disruptions. Implement upgrades and patches to network hardware and software to improve performance and security.
+ Issue Resolution and Support (30%) - Provide advanced technical support for incident and problem resolution, acting as an escalation point for complex issues. Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to resolve network-related issues promptly. Use network management tools to analyze network traffic and identify root causes of performance bottlenecks.
+ Network Requests (20%) - Participate in the review and completion of service requests for the network infrastructure. Ensure that all requests are resolved within documented SLAs.
+ Documentation and Compliance (10%) - Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and service records.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to network operations. Conduct regular reviews and audits of network security measures and protocols.
+ Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications & Experiences:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ 5-8 years of experience in network administration or operations in a complex network environment.
+ Extensive experience with various network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network operating systems, and network hardware platforms.
+ Extensive experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in using network management and analysis tools like
+ SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar.
+ Hours of work will be 10am to 6pm weekdays local time
+ Minimal travel anticipated for this position
+ Must have the legal right to work in Mexico
