CEO
Ensure the achievement of predefined, challenging business targets and secure sustainable results across all company operations, in line with the company's strategic direction and performance expectations.
Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals and International automotive market standards.
Proven experience in effectively collaborating with labor unions in Mexico, ensuring constructive labor relations and compliance with local labor regulations

Requirements
-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in the automotive industry.
Substantial leadership experience in Mexico, including direct collaboration with local OEMs, with a thorough understanding of the international and local automotive market and its stakeholders
Proven track record managing multi-department organizations, ideally within European companies or with significant exposure to European corporate culture.
Fluency in English and Spanish

Our client is a world leader in metal cutting solutions and Europe's largest band saw blade manufacturer, recognized globally for exceptional precision, quality, and performance in band saw blade technology. To meet the growing demand, a sales and service subsidiary as well as a manufacturing plant was established in Mexico – our client is the only manufacturer with a Mexico-based manufacturing facility for a specialty application.
With this strategic expansion, our client is seeking a driven Chief Executive Officer to lead the subsidiary’s operations (doubling of manufacturing capacity), driving growth, expanding profitability, and expanding market presence in Mexico and the Latin American region. This role holds direct responsibility for two core functions: Sales and Operations & Administration. The ideal candidate should be a strategic, hands-on leader capable of balancing operational efficiency with long-term growth planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a growth strategy in Mexico
- Identify new market opportunities, expand market share, and drive revenue growth.
- Foster innovation and adaptability to remain competitive in the Mexican market.
- Review and enhance internal business operations for greater efficiency.
- Manage the subsidiary’s P&L and provide strategic leadership to the local team.
- Optimize processes to support scalable growth and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement effective sales strategies.
- Strengthen relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports to achieve business goals.
- Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on accountability and innovation.
- Act as the primary liaison with global headquarters to ensure alignment and coordination.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven leadership experience in sales, business development, or corporate development, with a strong operational background in a similarly sized manufacturing environment.
- Industry experience in metalworking and solid understanding of related products, equipment, and technologies is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing or restructuring business units with full P&L responsibility.
- Existing network within relevant industries (metal working) is a strong asset.
