**What You'll Do**
+ Develop cloud services and solutions that manage the Teradata infrastructure on the public cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
+ Design and build quality, high-performing and secure multi-tier applications capable of handling large amounts of requests and data.
+ Perform complex code modification, testing and debugging and be able to solve challenging scalability and integration problems.
**Who You'll Work With**
You will collaborate with cross-functional agile teams that include product owners, and front-end, back-end, and quality engineers to conceptualize, build, test and ship software solutions for the next generation of cloud applications and services.
**What Makes You a Qualified Candidate**
+ Minimum of 7 years of related experience with a university degree.
+ Experience with designing, building, and operating distributed complex software systems on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
+ Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
+ Experience writing unit and system level tests using dependency injection frameworks and object mocking.
+ Oral and written communication skills (ability to produce runbooks, technical, and non-technical documentation).
+ Proficiency with java programming language and spring boot framework.
+ Proficiency working with Linux operating systems and Bash/Shell.
+ Proficiency with microservices and REST APIs development.
+ Experience with containerization and orchestrations technology such as Docker and Kubernetes.
+ Knowledge and experience with database and SQL.
**What You Will Bring**
+ Masters or Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related technical discipline.
+ Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform).
+ Experience with Kubernetes, docker containers is a plus.
+ Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly.
+ Willingness to own all stages of development.

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Senior ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, designing and implementing tailored cloud solutions. You'll be a key player in the pre-sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey.
In this role, you'll be responsible for creating and leading the solution design to address customer business outcomes (CBO). Operating as the conduit between ProServe Account Executives and our Shared Delivery Teams (SDT), you'll ensure proposed solutions are realistic, achievable, and optimize ProServe and/or our partners to maximize CBOs. As a Sr. PCA you are a trusted advisor to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. As a technical SME, you will share knowledge within the organization, through mentoring, training, creation of reusable artifacts and process improvements.
Your experience in designing technical solutions within the technology/consulting sector, will equip you with the ability to architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer, translating technical concepts into business value. Your success as a Sr. PCA will be linked to impacting the signing of SOWs, and the successful implementation of solutions which achieve CBOs while exceeding customer satisfaction (CSAT) expectations.
The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Key job responsibilities
As an experienced technology professional, you will be responsible for:
- Designing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs)
- Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phases
- Collaborating with Account Managers and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, designing and implementing cloud solutions
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, design and technical domain
- Experience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management
- Experience in consulting/service sales, business development and technical Pre-sales experience
- Bachelor's degree, or experience as technical specialist in design and architecture
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies
- Expertise in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred

**Minimum qualifications:**
