Responsibilities
Develop and execute best-in-class social media strategies for new product launches, seasonal promotions, and other key occasions to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation through our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
 
Drive new initiatives with up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media trends, monitor competitor activities, and industry developments to drive growth and create optimistic content strategies.
 
Analyze and report on social media metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and leverage insights to enhance strategies for ongoing improvement.
 
Work with in-country teams to manage and review local social content calendars. Based on guidance from HQ social media teams, collaborate with agencies and in-house teams to develop high-quality content for social media platforms.
 
Develop and execute KOL/ influencer campaigns to maximize the social and digital momentum. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as marketing, retail, GTM and eCommerce teams to ensure alignment of messaging and campaigns across various channels to support both integrated marketing campaigns and digital campaigns.
 
This role will also require you to manage agencies to ensure the social and digital campaigns are up to standard.
 
Be the brand guardian to ensure that all social content is on brand and aligned with the brand guidelines and strategy.
 
Qualifications
3-5 years’ of experience in social media management and brand marketing Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing Communications, Digital Media or a related field.
 
Fluent verbal and written English skills, native Spanish speaker. Familiar with Mexican local culture and internet trends.
 
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
 
Creative, innovative thinker. Detail-oriented, ensuring high-quality content production.
 
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness and business results.
 
Solid hands-on experience in social media strategy, planning and digital activations.
 
You have a good knowledge of how and when to leverage different marketing channels.
 
Excellent writing and editing skills. Strong sense of design and aesthetics. Adobe Suite skills are a plus.
 
Open-minded, entrepreneurial, intellectually curious, self-starter, capable of working independently & collaboratively.

Propósito de la posición:
Responsable de liderar la estrategia, planificación y operación de redes sociales para la marca, actuando como punto de contacto principal con el cliente y asegurando la alineación entre contenido, objetivos de comunicación y resultados. Responsabilidades claves:
- Servir como lead estratégico y enlace principal con el cliente, gestionando prioridades y objetivos de comunicación.
- Identificar oportunidades mensuales de contenido alineadas con los objetivos de marca y coordinar su integración con campañas globales y locales.
- Desarrollar estrategias sociales para orientar contenido, creatividad y planificación.
- Liderar el desarrollo de contenido evergreen, ad hoc y de eventos en conjunto con los equipos creativos y de producción.
- Coordinar con el equipo creativo la revisión y aprobación de copys, asegurando consistencia con la voz y tono de la marca.
- Supervisar la planeación del calendario editorial y la publicación diaria en canales sociales, en colaboración con el Project Manager.
- Liderar juntas de estatus y colaboración con el cliente relacionadas con redes sociales.
- Monitorear métricas de engagement, alcance y desempeño en todas las plataformas.
- Analizar resultados y contribuir a reportes mensuales de desempeño, proponiendo optimizaciones y nuevas oportunidades.
- Detectar tendencias relevantes y compartir ideas sobre cómo pueden capitalizarlas estratégicamente.
- Identificar comentarios críticos y canalizarlos oportunamente con cliente y áreas correspondientes.
- Monitorear métricas de engagement, alcance y desempeño en todas las plataformas.
- Analizar resultados y contribuir a reportes mensuales de desempeño, proponiendo optimizaciones y nuevas oportunidades.
- Identificar comentarios críticos o “red flags” (quejas, dudas, crisis) y canalizarlos oportunamente con cliente y áreas correspondientes.
 
Requerimientos mínimos:
- Licenciatura en Comunicación, Marketing, Publicidad o afín.
- Experiencia mínima de 4 a 5 años en manejo de redes sociales, estrategia digital o gestión de contenido para marcas premium o automotrices (deseable).
- Experiencia demostrable en: Planeación estratégica de contenido. Monitoreo de métricas e interpretación de KPIs sociales.Coordinación con áreas creativas y de producción.
- Conocimiento avanzado de Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads, YouTube Studio, X Ads Manager y LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Inglés avanzado, tanto escrito como hablado.
- Deseable experiencia previa en agencia de publicidad o digital con relación directa con cliente.

Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager who is passionate about beauty, social media, and has a strong track record in defining, building, and overseeing social media strategy while cultivating and nurturing a community.
You will join a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced remote environment, working with top beauty brands to help them grow, engage, and support their community. The ideal candidate will have a social-first approach, be flexible and proactive, and know how to juggle multiple projects in real time.
 
What you’ll do
- Social Media Management & Strategy: Develop strategies to grow clients’ social media engagement across platforms (Instagram, TikTok).
- Content Calendars: Create and manage calendars, plan content, include events, holidays, and captions.
- Content Creation: Brief designers/creators, leverage UGC, and create content when needed.
- Captions & Copywriting: Write compelling and flawless captions in English.
- Instagram Story Strategy: Concept, plan, and create when needed.

About Good Boi Marketing
Good Boi Marketing is a fast-growing digital marketing agency that helps dog groomers and dog daycares generate 90+ booked appointments in 90 days using our PAWS Method — a proven lead generation system powered by Facebook Ads, Local Service Ads, and automation.
We’re looking for a Creative Media Strategist (VA) who can edit viral-style short-form videos, manage social content, and create ad creatives that perform. If you understand the science behind viral content — hooks, pacing, CTAs, and trend alignment — this role is for you.
 
As our Creative Media Strategist, you’ll handle both content creation and execution for Good Boi Marketing and our clients. You’ll take raw footage, edit it into scroll-stopping short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts), and manage posting and performance tracking.
This is not a “just edit videos” job. You’ll be responsible for creating content that gets views, builds engagement, and converts.
 
Video Editing
- Edit 5–10 Reels/TikToks per week for GBM and clients
- Repurpose long-form clips into short-form content
- Add captions, jump cuts, music, emojis, and transitions
- Create multiple ad variations for A/B testing
- Maintain platform-specific formatting and pacing (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Social Media Management
- Manage and post on GBM’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Write captions and CTAs aligned with GBM’s brand voice
- Research trends, sounds, and creative formats weekly
- Track performance metrics (views, reach, engagement)
Ad Creative Strategy
- Understand what makes a video perform as an ad
- Brainstorm and implement creative hooks, angles, and storylines
- Collaborate with the team to test new ad concepts
- Learn from ad data to improve future creatives
 
- Proven experience editing short-form video content (Reels/TikToks/Shorts)
- Strong portfolio showing engaging, viral-style edits
- Understanding of organic reach, algorithms, and ad creative strategy
- Familiar with hooks, retention, and scroll-stopping pacing
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Familiarity with Facebook Ads and Instagram/TikTok content culture
- Proficient with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Descript
- Organized, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
 
- On-time delivery of edited videos
- Consistent growth in organic reach and engagement
- Ad creatives meeting or exceeding CTR benchmarks
- Adaptability to feedback and trend shifts
 
- Full-time: $800–$1,200/month (based on experience and skill)
