**What You'll Do**
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing and maintaining our corporate design system, while fostering a collaborative environment to grow our UI community. The design system is used by our engineering teams and external partners throughout our products.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
+ Accountable for translating Teradata's design system (Covalent) into coded fully functioning presentational components made from HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
+ Partner with designers to work through a roadmap of building out reusable UX patterns into a coded platform.
+ Pioneer and create user interface components for generational AI applications with scalability in mind, ensuring they can be easily consumed within the company design system.
+ Maintain and further contribute to our current UI platform already built using Angular and Material Angular.
+ Help build out and shepherd the creation of our documentation design system to effectively communicate UX core principles, patterns, and coded implementations.
+ Build coded prototypes to communicate ideas and concepts, and for user testing.
+ Bring new and innovative ideas to how developers within Teradata and outside can consume our components with a low barrier to entry.
+ Collaborate with other product UI engineers to ensure quality standards are being followed and design system components are interoperable enough for re-use throughout the entire product portfolio.
You'll be successful in this role if you influence product decisions by obsessing over finely crafted, reusable code that delights users.

You will be on an Empowered Team and work closely with cross-functional leaders and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. This includes but is not limited to product managers, product architects & engineers, product designers, user interface designers, content designers, and documentation engineers.
This role reports to the Director of User Experience Engineering, on the Teradata Experience team.

**What You'll Do**
Teradata is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to help build a new full-stack software development project that provides a unified user interface to operationalize Jupiter notebooks and enhance the Data ascientis experience. **Your role and responsibilities**
As an Application Developer with expertise in Front End you will translate visual and interactive designs into functional web and mobile applications. You are expected to use responsive design and development techniques to create prototypes and perform hands-on coding for the application user interface.
This involves leveraging technologies such as CSS3, HTML5, PHP, JavaScript, and associated frameworks, REACT, Angular, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Dojo, and various other APIs.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Strong experience developing front end applications with JavaScript and React
* Strong experience bundling packages with Webpack or Vite
* Experience in migrating bundling tools
* Experience migrating between React versions, e.g. v16 to v18
* Advanced English level for technical conversations
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Good experience in writing and managing React Testing Library ( Jest to Vitest)
* Experience working with Vite Configuration and Ecosystem
* Build tooling, Dependency and Environment management

Ubicación: Apodaca, Nuevo León (Presencial)

Uno de nuestros clientes líderes globales en el sector de telecomunicaciones busca un Front End Engineer para unirse a su equipo en Apodaca / Monterrey . En este rol, serás parte de la innovación detrás de las tecnologías de conectividad y automatización que impulsan los sistemas de comunicación de próxima generación.
Responsabilidades principales
- Diseñar y desarrollar aplicaciones UI basadas en web utilizando Angular, Node.js, RxJS y frameworks modernos de gestión de estados.
- Analizar los requisitos comerciales y técnicos, y transformarlos en diseños y planes de implementación robustos.
- Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales (UX, QA, Producto) para entregar soluciones centradas en el usuario y de alta calidad.
- Realizar pruebas unitarias y contribuir a frameworks de automatización de pruebas (Jest, Cypress, Selenium, etc.).
- Mantener y mejorar los componentes de UI existentes para garantizar estabilidad y rendimiento a largo plazo.
- Documentar decisiones de diseño, soluciones implementadas y análisis de causa raíz.
 
Requisitos
- Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Computación , Ingeniería en Software o campo relacionado.
- Más de 6 años de experiencia práctica en desarrollo de software.
- Experiencia comprobada en JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular (v10+), Node.js, HTML, SCSS .
- Amplio conocimiento en frameworks de gestión de estados (Redux, ngrx, Akita).
- Experiencia con APIs REST y herramientas como Postman.
- Bilingüe español / inglés (oral y escrito).
- Conocimiento del ciclo de vida del desarrollo de software y metodologías Agile/Scrum.
- Familiaridad con GIT , JIRA/Atlassian y procesos de revisión de código.
 
Deseable
- Experiencia colaborando con equipos de Producto, UX y QA.
- Conocimiento en Nx Monorepos , D3.js y entornos Linux .
- Exposición a aplicaciones de gestión de redes de telecomunicaciones o cable.
- Experiencia con herramientas de desarrollo asistidas por IA (GitHub Copilot, Cursor).
