**About the** **Role:** Associate Data Analyst - Automotive Supply Chain & Technology
**The Team:**
The S&P Global Mobility - Supply Chain & Technology team is in search of a Data Analyst **.** The position's focus is to enable our global research team and ensure that our 100+ data forecasts are published monthly on time and fully valid, bringing customer delight and financial growth for SPGI. This position will respond to our global research teams requests for adjustments to our internal forecasting tool. This consists of metadata changes, data dictionaries and publication processes. This role will work along with others in the system development team to proactively increase efficiencies and quality. Alongside this, the position will be able to execute various data manipulation and data analysis on an ad-hoc cadence, in a timely manner.
**Responsibilities and Impact**
+ Understand, organize, prioritize, and implement requested changes into the forecasting tool within a short time frame.
+ Effectively communicate the status of requests with estimates to the research team and leadership on estimated completion.
+ Document user challenges and devise potential solutions, ensuring leadership is aware of common and urgent issues.
+ Triage user issues through necessary channels.
+ Occasionally carrying out ad-hoc data manipulation tasks, from data aggregation, data joins, data cleansing, transposing, to renaming etc.

This role will involve collaborating closely with Product Owners and Data Engineers to develop advanced algorithms and digital features. You will be working primarily with time series data from various controllers that transmit data via telematics, with a focus on descriptive and predictive modeling to optimize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
