**What will you be doing?**
This role will be used for provisioning Azure PaaS platform and projects within the Enterprise Data and Analytics team's sustain organization
- Focus on enterprise data warehouse stability and drive incident reduction for PepsiCo's enterprise data warehouse solutions on Teradata and Azure Synapse
- Monitor critical ETL load status and ensure timely status communication
- Track incidents and requests and provide daily analytical view to your manager
- Take ownership of support tasks and complete assigned tasks on schedule
- Response to priority incidents, communicate to business users, collaborate with various IT teams to drive problem closure
- Investigate issues such as data mismatch between the systems, job failures; find the fix and document solution
- Create and maintain strong working relationships with business users, EDW support and other IT teams
- Use ServiceNow for Service Request, Incidents and Change Request management and follow PepsiCo ITSM policies
Qualifications:

UST is looking for an IM Senior Data Warehouse Developer who will create and support the ETL process to extract the data from source systems and place it into the data warehouse.
**The opportunity**:
- Performs data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation
- Designs, develops, and maintains relational databases for data storage and data mining
- Works with business and IT stakeholders to optimize reporting information by defining business requirements and populating the data warehouse table structure
- Creates data warehouse schematics and layouts; assists with developing capacity planning
- Recommends improvements and applies standards, processes, and procedures for data warehousing systems
- Seeks continuous data warehouse performance improvement and ensures security of data
- Creates and implements effective metrics and monitoring processes
- May lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Acts as a resource and impacts the quality of work for colleagues with less experience
This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.
**What you need**:
- 4+ years Data Warehouse or relevant experience
- Experience in Kimball dimensional modelling
- 4+ years ETL, database, and scheduling experience
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
- 1+ years of Data Analysis experience
- Advanced ability to solve complex problems, drawing upon creativity, experience, and multiple sources of information
- Advanced interpersonal skills, including the ability to build consensus
- Advanced communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in straightforward manner
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/ experience
- Preferred:
- Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge
- Master’s degree and/or LOMA certification
- Experience as an ETL team lead Technical
- Skills Required:
- Informatica Power Center & Data Validation Option
- Enterprise Scheduler (Tidal preferred)
- Erwin Data Modeler
- Database technologies (one or more of the following)
- Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
- Vertica Preferred
- Talend
- Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
