You will develop the 0-24-month IBP forecast by brand and at the stock keeping unit (SKU) level. You will coordinate, challenge and influence building block with input from sales, marketing and other partners. In addition, you will review the disaggregated short-term demand plan, which includes SKU/location mix and weekly pacing. Finally, you will provide the finalized detailed demand plan by SKU to supply planners and adjust it based on feedback from supply planners or commercial teams.
**How you will contribute**
You will:
+ Contribute to the demand management cycle of the integrated business planning (IBP) process for your categories and to strategy and structure discussions
+ Liaise with the commercial and operational teams and develop ways to continuously improve communication between the functions to support the delivery of the business KPIs for their families
+ Manage forecast compilation process, which includes owning the short-term weekly plan and the long-term forecast (three or more months)
+ Interact with modelling team to generate statistical forecasting
+ Participate in the integrated business planning process and manage the demand planning tool
+ Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership

ABOUT THE ROLE
The SML Specialist prepares business related analyses and research for Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics. The individual prepares forecasts, analyzes trends and related to Distribution or Warehouse, Inventory or Material Control, Logistics, Planning or Scheduling, and/or Traffic or Transportation and uses the analyses to compile and prepare reports, graphs and charts of data and/or ensure efficient production
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with sales, marketing, finance, procurement, and manufacturing teams to understand the factors driving demand forecasting.
- Evaluate sales team forecasts and routine executions (historical data, seasonality, market trends, special offers, budgets, etc.) through relevant data analysis.
- Improve forecast accuracy (statistical models, software, etc.) with cross-functional coordination actions.
- Coordinate client projects with the Sales and Supply Planning department.
- Adjust forecasting rules based on demand and market trends.
- Analyze quantitative and financial forecasts, report on forecast KPIs, and propose improvements.
- Lead forecast meetings as part of the internal S&OP process.

Position Summary:
The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible (in collaboration with Market Demand Planners) for the International Developing Market total forecast (baseline and promotional forecast). He/ She is also responsible to clean historical data, to develop and to maintain statistical forecasts in IBP- He/she collaborates with the Market Demand Planners to understand and to challenge local market intelligence, to understand any MI impacts on the statistical forecast.
He/she must support the preparation of the area demand reviews (S&OP process). The Demand Planning Analyst needs to ensure the best total volume forecast, to support the DP Manager in gaining validation and sign off from the International VP. He/she must also support the DP Manager to ensure that the market processes and meeting remains aligned with the Area process and connected to the Area meetings to share information and gain feedback.
The Demand Planning Analyst will remain focused on improving forecast accuracy and the correct horizon, with the aim to maximize sales (minimize service issues) while balancing this with working capital targets. He/she will also focus on Long Term Planning at an area level with commercial and marketing teams, to develop the best possible approach to planning and business delivery.
To suggest and support best Practice Development in forecasting; either within SAP-IBP or more generally within demand planning.
The Demand Planning Analyst is responsible for IBP maintenance and control of Master data.
**Responsibilities**:
- To manage product switches from a statistical and total forecast perspective & co-ordinate with market Demand Planners for Market intelligence forecast.
- To own the maintenance and checking of links to external data sources to start the generation of a statistical forecast for appropriate categories / markets within Int. Developing Market.
- To use the critical items monthly to initiate collaborative review with Market Demand Planners to find the corrective actions to improve the forecast.
- Perform forecast modelling and adjust forecasting parameters to ensure the best possible accuracy and forecast horizon.
- To support the implementation of the int Developing Market Roadmap for forecast improvement, aligned to the priorities of your manager
- To support when required the building of the pack for the Area Demand Review for int. Developing Market (for S&OP) in collaboration with your manager and understand impact of supply constraints from the AS&OP.
- Work with Market Demand Planners to investigate root cause of forecast errors.
- To support the int Developing Market Demand Planning Manager in the Projects to help deliver the required strategic priorities.
- To support the maintenance and set up of IBP related to statistical forecast
What we are looking for:
- 3-4 years of Experience in a supply chain (specific DP background is essential) or highly numerical role.

Lyft is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Workforce Demand Planner to join our Global Planning team. This pivotal role is essential to ensuring that our staffing forecasts are not only accurate but also adaptable to the ever-changing needs of our business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to synthesize inputs from various teams to create comprehensive staffing plans.
As a Workforce Demand Planner, you will be at the forefront of our staffing strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, identify trends, and develop forecasts that support our operational goals. You will be responsible for creating short, mid, and long-term staffing plans that align with our business objectives, ensuring that we have the right number of staff at the right times to meet demand.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead end-to-end workforce demand planning processes for a large-scale customer support organization
+ Develop and maintain sophisticated forecasting models using historical data, business intelligence, and predictive analytics
+ Partner with operations leaders to translate business strategies into staffing requirements
+ Create and optimize staffing scenarios based on service level agreements, budget constraints, and business objectives
+ Monitor forecast accuracy and develop strategies for continuous improvement
+ Collaborate with recruitment and training teams to ensure alignment between hiring plans and forecasted demand
+ Present workforce insights and recommendations to senior leadership
+ Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of best practices
**Experience:**
+ Minimum 3+ years experience in workforce management, forecasting, or a similar analytical role.
+ Experience working with BPO outsourcing to staff for multi-channel/tier support organizations (Preferred)
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
+ Proficiency in workforce management software and tools (e.g., NICE, Verint, Aspect)
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau)
+ Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
+ Knowledge of industry best practices in workforce management.
+ Passionate about providing best in class customer experiences.
+ Self-starter with high degree of ownership; willing to do whatever it takes in a 24/7, 365 day global operation
