Regional Demand Planning Director
to lead our regional demand planning organization. This role is responsible for delivering an accurate and aligned 24-month rolling consensus forecast, driving collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure that commercial strategies are reflected in a robust demand plan.
The Director will play a critical role in optimizing service levels, maximizing revenue, and minimizing inventory risk and obsolescence. This individual will also lead the demand review process, shape category and brand-level demand strategies, and champion continuous improvement in demand planning capabilities, processes, and tools.
A day in the life as a Regional Demand Planning Director:
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional team of Demand Planning Managers, creating a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Define and drive demand planning strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities and global planning principles.
- Partner with brand owners, commercial leaders, and global planning teams to translate top-down strategies into actionable, bottom-up forecasts.
Forecasting & IBP
- Own the regional consensus forecasting process, delivering an unconstrained 24-month rolling forecast.
- Lead the Demand Review step of the IBP cycle, ensuring cross-functional alignment and forecast sign-off.
- Drive rigor and discipline in forecast enrichment and assumption documentation across all planning horizons.
- Collaborate with the Global IBP Owner to cascade guidelines and targets to commercial teams, ensuring planning integration within the global IBP framework.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process, system, and capability improvements across demand planning.
- Assess the effectiveness of the IBP cycle and lead initiatives to enhance its value to the business.
- Actively participate in regional and global forums to share best practices and influence strategic planning evolution.
Talent Development
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent in the demand planning team, ensuring future readiness and alignment with organizational values.
- Provide coaching, career development, and performance feedback consistent with Hasbro's Career Management processes.
- Promote a culture of learning, inclusion, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or commercial operations, including at least 5 years in people leadership roles.
- Solid understanding of consensus forecasting, baseline enrichment, and lifecycle planning.
- Proven track record in managing demand across multiple markets and categories within the Toy or FMCG sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, especially across Sales, Marketing, and Finance functions.
- Experience leading change and implementing process improvements in complex organizations.
- Experience with AI-based forecasting models is a strong plus.

About the roleLeverage the forecasting and inventory planning system (APO) to generate a 13-month rolling forecast and supply plans
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to develop accurate Demand Plans, linked to customers’ Sales and Trade Stock levels.
- Oversee report generation in order to identify and recommend changes to the current supply plan, target weeks cover and demand plan
- Maintain appropriate levels of inventory in warehouses to meet demand plan while achieving corporate inventory level objectives
- Communicate all critical demand or supply changes to Senior Leadership, production planning, finance, sales, and marketing, as required. Play a leadership role in generating timely options to deal with issues
- Monitor forecast performance and utilize root cause analysis to identify misses to the plan and recommend subsequent process improvement opportunities
Forecasting
- Forecast at the account and product level as required
- Analyse weekly in-stock data and partner with sales to identify and resolve stock-out issues at chain and store level
- Support delivery of assigned budgets on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Partner with global operations, marketing, and sales teams to drive new product launch planning
- Determine pipefill and replenishment quantities by retailer, ensuring all relevant retailer timelines and reset dates are met
- Communicate LATAM needs to Group Supply Chain to ensure all areas of the business are working toward the same plan
- Coordinate audit with the quality team upon new product arrival
Inspire, actively manage and lead direct reports
- Communicate clear priorities and required results
- Provide consistent support and regular feedback through 1:1s and team meetings
- Consistently monitor and track performance goals for the team
Drive continuous improvement in processes to deliver improved demand forecast accuracy, and improved supply planning collaboration with Supply Chain
