Job Summary:


SEGULA Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting, data analysis, and financial reporting, with a proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to gather and validate data for analysis.
  • Download, classify, and analyze large volumes of accounting data.
  • Record financial incidents in the internal system.
  • Present reports with clear conclusions and actionable insights.
  • Monitor and control purchase orders.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, including AR and AP.
  • Utilize accounting and data analysis software effectively.


Systems & Tools:


  • Experience with accounting ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with the SAT portal and electronic invoicing (version 4.0).
  • Knowledge of travel expense reporting.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel formulas, pivot tables, presentations, etc.).


Knowledge Requirements:


  • Solid understanding of Mexican tax regulations (LIVA and LISR).
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Intermediate English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (Degree completed or verifiably in progress).

**A Day in the Life**
The primary focus of this role is to support capital for a selection of Medtronic manufacturing (MFG) Mexico sites, including business partnering, modeling, planning, reporting, and providing transactional support. This role will partner with other members of the Capital COE to drive efficiencies and standardization across the Medtronic Regional Platforms.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
+ Performs and analyzes financial modeling, economic research, trends and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, cash flow, investments, and cost against budget, variance analysis, forecasting, financial planning and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and/or income statements.
+ Prepares reports of findings and recommendations, compiles and consolidates financial plans and provides insights to management.
+ Develops, maintains, and establishes operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, ad hoc reporting, and analysis.
+ May provide analysis on business development and may monitor business performance by unit, division or group.
**SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM:** Typically an individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty. Delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. ¿Qué harás en este rol?

  • Analizar variaciones de cuentas contables y detectar anomalías en reportes financieros.
  • Evaluar resultados de P&L, identificando desviaciones por cliente o línea de negocio.
  • Preparar reportes financieros para dirección con presentaciones claras y efectivas.
  • Participar en la elaboración de presupuestos y pronósticos financieros.
  • Descargar y manipular reportes desde SAP (consultas, extracción de datos).
  • Apoyar en la creación de tableros y herramientas en Power BI o SAC (deseable).
  • Colaborar en proyectos financieros ad-hoc que impacten decisiones estratégicas.

¿Qué buscamos en ti?

  • Licenciatura en Contabilidad, Administración, Finanzas o afín.
  • Mínimo 2 años de experiencia en análisis financiero y revisión de cuentas.
  • Dominio de Excel intermedio-avanzado (tablas dinámicas).
  • Manejo de SAP (consultas, descarga de reportes); Power BI y SAC deseables.
  • Inglés intermedio.
  • Habilidades clave: colaboración, autodesarrollo, orientación al cliente, seguridad y comunicación asertiva.
