Job Overview:

Lead the overseas market expansion and customer maintenance efforts for various steel products and metal products.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the steel market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a strong team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expand business into new markets through strategic marketing initiatives
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and identify new opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve business targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Marketing, Metallurgy, or related field
  • Proficient in English for daily communication
  • At least 3 years of experience in the steel market with mature customer channels and steel mill channels
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and management skills

We offer a competitive remuneration package including annual salary and benefits. The estimated minimum annual salary is $80,000 and the maximum annual salary is $120,000. The currency used for remuneration is MXN (Mexican Pesos).

- Project Management support and ensuring the completion of projects on time and within budget.
- Liaising with local legal service providers for entity incorporation, registered address & office, and mandatory licensing and registrations.

- Reviewing of legal advice across new countries.
- Keep up to date on legal/regulatory/tax-based developments or changes that could affect Entity compliance in region

About the job

We are seeking a highly driven Expansion Manager to expand Tether’s growth and presence in Méxicothrough adoption of its solutions, products and services. The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships , and navigating regulatory landscapes . This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies in México and across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who believes in financial inclusion, digital currencies, and driving innovation in the Latin America financial ecosystem . Occasional international travel is required.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in business development, market expansion, and partnership management .

You have:

  • A degree in Business, Management, or Finance (MBA preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in setting/monitoring KPIs.

  • A proactive, independent, and well-organized approach to work.

  • Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Support and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.


  • Deep knowledge of the mexican market and regulations in blockchain, fintech, remittances, and payments.

  • 5-7 years work experience in cross-border payments, remittances, cryptocurrency or payment infrastructures.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred).

About The Job
We are seeking a highly driven Expansion Manager to expand Tether’s growth and presence in México through adoption of its solutions, products and services. The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships , and navigating regulatory landscapes . This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies in México and across the region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who believes in financial inclusion, digital currencies, and driving innovation in the Latin America financial ecosystem . Occasional international travel is required.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record in business development, market expansion, and partnership management .
You have:

  • A degree in Business, Management, or Finance (MBA preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in setting/monitoring KPIs.
  • A proactive, independent, and well-organized approach to work.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • A history of successfully building and managing strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Partnerships
  • Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in México and the region.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities.
Market Strategy & Execution
  • Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tether’s products and services.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities.
  • Analyze USDt and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
Stakeholder & Government Engagement
  • Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.
  • Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.
Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Support and participate in fintech events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.
  • Deep knowledge of the mexican market and regulations in blockchain, fintech, remittances, and payments.
  • 5-7 years work experience in cross-border payments, remittances, cryptocurrency or payment infrastructures.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth.
  • Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise is a plus.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness.

Overview

As a Vice President in Mexico Payments Product Market Expansion, you will be an integral part of Mexico’s Treasury Services Product Leadership team, defining and steering Mexico Payments Product growth. Leveraging a strategic mindset and knowledge of best practices in cash and liquidity management, you will collaborate with stakeholders across the payments organization to build products and solutions that meet clients' strategic objectives. This role will be based in Mexico City, reporting into the Head of Mexico Treasury Services Product.

Responsibilities
  • Launch and grow new TS payments products adding to Mexico Payments to drive business growth and diversification
  • Lead commercialization strategy maintaining a coherent fee and billing strategy
  • Drive adoption of recently launched products and solutions and provide post-launch feedback
  • Support commercial partnerships management, ensuring partnerships get commercial traction and maintain a sound operating model
  • Support product development roadmap, combining deep understanding of market needs and product capabilities
  • Stay abreast of market developments and innovation to ensure the right positioning and product portfolio
  • Partner with Sales Team in pricing, pipeline planning, account planning, and upskilling the team on product knowledge by collaborating on training and high quality marketing materials
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in banking, finance or consulting
  • Extensive experience developing go-to-market strategy
  • Experience solving complex problems and dealing with ambiguity
  • Inquisitive nature with advanced problem solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn the technical and operational aspects of the TS products quickly
  • Team player and capable of building relationships with key business partners
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive self-starter, takes ownership of initiatives from the start; sees through to completion
  • Fluent in English and Spanish

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a planning or data-driven role, ideally within the automotive industry. You should be skilled in:

Requirements

· Software: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau and familiarity with AI large language models (LLMs) is a plus.

· Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· English Proficiency: Strong communication skills for working in multicultural environments.

· Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León.
