Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC SAP FI/CO Consultant with a minimum of five years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting financial and controlling modules in an SAP ECC 6.0 environment. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, configure, and implement SAP solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must be fluent in English to effectively communicate with stakeholders and document processes
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting (FI):
Lead the configuration of core FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).
Design and implement solutions for new charts of accounts, company codes, and legal entities.
Manage and execute month-end and year-end closing activities within SAP.
Handle integration points between FI and other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management).
Controlling (CO):
Configure and support Controlling modules such as Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), and Product Costing (PC).
Perform period-end closing activities in CO, including allocations and settlements.
Develop and maintain profitability analysis reports and dashboards to support business decisions
Business Analysis & Support:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Provide expert-level support for financial and controlling issues, troubleshooting errors and leading root cause analysis.
Train end-users and create documentation for new processes and functionalities
Project Management :
Participate in project planning, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution.
Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and business users to meet project goals and deadlines
Required Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of five years of hands-on experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant.
System Knowledge:
Deep functional knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 and its core financial and controlling modules.
Integration:
A strong understanding of the integration between FI/CO and other modules (SD, MM, and PP).
Technical Skills:
Nice to have experience in ABAP debugging and the ability to understand and work with custom objects, user exits, and Business Add-Ins (BAdIs).
Communication:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead workshops, present solutions to stakeholders, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Education:
A bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. SAP certification is a plus.
