WHO YOU ARE:
You are an excellent video editor with good motion design skills looking for a full-time position as part of our team. The ideal candidate has experience on a wide range of marketing projects, specifically that involve graphic/motion work, and is able to translate a variety of assets into exciting and creative video content. You are social media savvy and you know how to create virality in video. You love bringing storyboards to life as well as coming up with your own ideas. You are a result-driven creative person who has great communication skills and is open to others’ feedback and input on your work, as part of a rich creative process.
WHAT WE NEED:
Oddity is looking for a full-time Video Editor/Motion Designer (Remote Contractor) to support our Growth Marketing team. This role will help produce a variety of video ads and video content for Instagram, Tiktok & other online channels. The style of our ads is constantly evolving and we’re looking for someone that has an eye for visuals that are attention grabbing, fresh, and social-friendly
Note - our team works EST hours and candidates should be available during standard business hours.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Be a major contributor and partner in the growth and success of Oddity video content
- Design, edit & animate short-form video ads for digital channels (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Youtube, etc.)
- Work closely with marketing managers to bring creative briefs & storyboards to life.
- Contribute to end-to-end video creative development process, from pre-production to post-production (deliverables)
- This is a full-time position based remotely.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of video editing and motion graphics experience, ideally with marketing video content and/or social media
- Full proficiency in Abode Premiere and After Effects is a must
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Media Encoder
- Color-grading experience
- Strong design skills - must be able to conceptualize & execute visual ideas with typography, graphics, color, and layout.
- At least basic knowledge and some experience working with AI for video/image generation
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Collaborative working style - you're receptive to feedback and direction
- Has the hustle in order to get tasks done in a timely manner, overcoming challenges along the way
- This is a remote contract role
- Full written and spoken english proficiency is a must
