Job Summary

1 STATEMENT:
This position will oversee supply and demand planning for the product requirements to achieve the demand in each of the countries of the Sam/Cam region, coming from the suppliers in the US and Europe until their arrival at the Distribution Center of each HUB Region. With this, guarantee the fulfillment of the service objectives, inventory management, and the company's operational objectives.
Provide support for S&OP meetings, update and monitor KPIS
2 DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
2.1 PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include the responsibilities of the position 5 to 8 in total Please be sure that each one is a responsibility and not an activity ranking by importance.
- Planning and programming of product requirements from different suppliers, working together with Supply Chain planning at Headquarters.
- The planner needs to manage risks that could affect the service level, as supplier delays, material disruption, quality issues, etc. This involves work closely with Sourcing, R&D, Quality, and Suppliers to develop contingency plans and work on solutions.
- Work with transportation team to determine the best use of transports of Herbalife, which is used to pick-up finished goods at manufacturing facilities. This involves a planning decision regarding what are the priorities to ensure the proper stock levels.
- Follow-up for orders from the USA, until they arrive at the final destination in each Distribution Center in Central America.
- Coordinates the entire Demand Planning process with the plant and the different suppliers to develop shipping plans and balance the capacity and availability of products.
- Maintenance of In-transit, Backorder, and negative inventory balances in the system.
- Drive Operational Metrics & KPIs such as: forecast accuracy, inventory accuracy, on time delivery, fill rate, and backorder report.
- Managing stockouts: the planner needs to manage the communication with the Member Service and respond the HCM inquiries related to product availability.
- Manage inventory to maximize service and minimize investment.
- Generate the monthly Rolling Forecast (demand planning).
- Analyze the behavior of forecast and their accuracy vs. actual sales.
- Adequately balance Air shipments versus Ocean Shipments to keep the budget under control while meeting demand.
