We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Data Transformation - Cognitive Engineering team, you will be responsible for building and deploying ML powered products and capabilities to power natural language understanding, data extraction, information retrieval and data sourcing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and Deploy ML powered products and pipelines
• Mentor a team of Senior and Junior data scientists / ML Engineers in delivering large scale projects
• Play a central role in all stages of the AI product development life cycle, including designing Machine Learning systems and model scaling strategies, researching & Implementing ML and Deep learning algorithms for production, running necessary ML tests and benchmarks for model validation, fine-tuning, retraining and scaling existing model deployments, extending existing ML library's and writing packages for reproducing components, partnering with business leaders, domain experts, and end-users to gain business understanding, data understanding, and collect requirements, interpreting results and presenting them to business leaders, managing production pipelines for enterprise scale projects, performing code reviews & optimization for your projects and team, and leading and mentoring by example, including project scrums

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a senior / lead ML engineer
• Expert proficiency in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Spacy, Sklearn, Pytorch/TF2, HuggingFace etc.)
• Excellent exposure to large scale model deployment strategies and tools
• Excellent knowledge of ML & Deep Learning domain
• Solid exposure to Information Retrieval, Web scraping and Data Extraction at scale
• Exposure to the following technologies - R-Shiny/Dash/Streamlit, SQL, Airflow, Redis, Celery, Flask/Django/FastAPI, Scrapy
• Experience with SOTA models related to NLP and expertise in text matching techniques, including sentence transformers, word embeddings, and similarity measures
• A Master's / PhD from a recognized institute in a relevant specialization

• Define company-wide personalization strategy and architecture, driving alignment across all ML teams
• Solve critical technical challenges such as cold start, real-time learning, and exploration/exploitation tradeoffs
• Design and implement advanced ML solutions using cutting-edge techniques (e.g., graph neural networks, causal models, bandit algorithms)
• Create and enforce ML architecture patterns, design standards, and reusable infrastructure across teams
• Lead multi-quarter, cross-functional initiatives that redefine how personalization impacts business KPIs
• Act as technical mentor to senior ML engineers, guiding complex decision-making and scaling team capability
• Represent Launch Potato’s technical brand externally through speaking engagements, open source contributions, or publications
• Champion privacy-preserving personalization, responsible AI practices, and adaptive learning systems
