OVERVIEW
The Manager, Content Operations Analytics plays a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across global content operations. This position leads the development of scalable BI solutions, data pipelines, and visualizations that support content readiness, localization, and delivery performance across DTC, linear, and theatrical models. Serving as a subject matter expert in media data systems, the Content Operations Analytics Manager ensures data quality, builds unified reporting layers, and delivers standardized dashboards to support both strategic and operational goals. This role partners closely with content operations, technology teams, and leadership to improve workflow efficiency, increase data availability, and elevate analytics maturity across the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Product Application Management & Ownership · Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics platforms that support content operations workflows across streaming, linear, FAST, and theatrical distribution. · Manage BI tool enhancements, integrations, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality and alignment with business objectives. · Act as the main liaison with external BI vendors and platform providers, ensuring tools support the complex needs of global content operations and analytics.
2. Analytics Development, Data Extraction & Visualization · Oversee the extraction and transformation of data from various media systems (e.g., MAM/DAM, CMS, scheduling tools, vendor portals) into centralized reporting environments. · Architect and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to automate data ingestion and integration into cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery. · Harmonize and standardize data across multiple systems (metadata, asset tracking, localization, delivery status, vendor SLAs) to ensure consistent reporting and unified insights. · Design and maintain backend data models, semantic layers, and star schemas to support rapid querying, self-service analytics, and dashboard development. · Build advanced dashboards and visualizations in tools like DOMO, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and MicroStrategy, tailored to content delivery, readiness, and operational KPIs.
· Define and standardize report templates across departments to ensure consistency in format, structure, KPIs, and branding. · Automate generation of recurring reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for internal stakeholders including content ops, distribution, programming, and leadership teams.
3. Data Governance, Standardization & Quality Oversight · Champion data governance by defining and enforcing business rules, metadata standards, naming conventions, and consistent KPI definitions across global operations. · Implement data validation, anomaly detection, and quality monitoring routines to ensure high trust in analytics reporting and dashboard metrics. · Maintain comprehensive documentation for data lineage, metric definitions, and dashboard logic to foster transparency and self-service adoption.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement · Collaborate closely with content operations, post-production, licensing, programming, and technology teams to align reporting needs with business goals. · Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions to translate stakeholder needs into technical reporting solutions, templates, and dashboard views. · Develop and deliver clear, data-driven presentations, reports, and visual summaries to communicate progress, risks, and insights to executive stakeholders. · Build and maintain a centralized portfolio of reporting priorities, coordinating closely with regional teams and content ops leaders.

In this role, you will work with audit teams to perform data and analytics audit services and automated audit procedures using approved software audit tools. Leadership

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee the quality control and approval of all reports, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Provide quality control for non-standard and complex data analysis cases.


Data Analysis Excellence

  • Perform and support data analysis for tool specification validation.
  • Assist in data analysis-related activities.


Standards and Procedures

  • Contribute to the alignment and establishment of Data Analysis QA standards with the Data Analysis management team.


Training and Development

  • Assist in developing and maintaining training materials to meet industry standards (API 1163 and ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ-2023).


Required Skills

  • Superior collaborative communication skills to effectively deliver technical messages to a variety of stakeholders
  • Above average presentation skills to effectively create technical content in support of storytelling to engage audiences
  • Expertise in American Regulatory framework (DOT, PHMSA) is required
  • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards
  • Deep understanding of compression wave UT Data life cycle
  • Strong and extensive track record in the analysis of UT compression wave data and geometry (GEO) for pipelines
  • Experience in the analysis of UT compression wave data and geometry (GEO) for Heaters/Furnaces is a plus
  • Understanding of ILI tool specifications in the market
  • Deep understanding correlating analysis results to inspection data from previous inspections, other technologies, and verification digs
  • Self-driven capacity to produce quality work with minimal supervision
  • Above average skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills required
  • 10+ years data analysis experience with compression wave UT technology
  • 5+ years of experience in management/supervisory roles with strong track record of developing technical teams
  • Experience in data management role


Education & Certifications

  • ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ-2023 Level 3 UT/GEO, Data Analysis certification is necessary.
  • ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ-2023 Level 2 / Level 3 Mapping, Data Analysis certification is preferred.
  • Academic background with proven proficiency in basic physics and mathematics is needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred, other bachelor’s degrees will be considered or requisite related technical experience.
  • Master’s degree in exact sciences is a plus.


Additional Skills

  • Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings
  • Experience in analysis of inertial mapping (IMU) pipeline inspections is a plus
  • Previous experience leading and collaborating across a global organization
  • Proficiency in programming, and/or database administration is a plus
  • Above average, professional-level, English communication skills (written & verbal) is required
  • Proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese (Brazil) is a plus
  • Quality improvement experience or Six Sigma certification is a plus

Position Summary

To support our Americans Region Ultrasonic (UT) Data Analysis growth, we are adding a newly created UT Data Analysis Manager position located in our Region. This role is pivotal to ensure our data analysis contributes effectively to the success of projects by ensuring timely delivery, maintaining high standards, fostering collaboration, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Leadership

  • Manage, coach, and inspire the UT data analysis team for the Americas region, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Drive the growth & development of the team through Intero’s Talent Management Plan -- regular check-ins, annual performance evaluations, goal setting, and providing continuous development.
  • Conduct workforce planning to address short and long term capacity for the region to the DA UT Management team.


Customer Orientation

  • Be the go-to expert for customers, handling communications via in-person meetings, phone calls, emails, and video conferences.
  • Stay updated on American regulatory frameworks (DOT, PHMSA, etc.) to continuously develop customer profiles.
  • Collaborate and support the UT DA pre-sales and after-sales teams, in the acceptance of scope of work from tenders, and the resolution of investigation from customer inquiries, respectively.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Integrity Engineering departments to ensure data analysis is integral to project success.
