+ Adhere to company's and customer standards at all times.
+ Lead the SYSS sales organization in Mexico.
+ Provide leadership for all SYSS sales employees for personal and business development, including leading department organization review and organization development processes. Direct and manage headcount development within the agreed budgets and Dilligence of Approval Processes. Direct and manage channels.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Plan for the SYSSsales organization
+ Provide leadership for the development of the SYSSbusiness plan and assure that the specific needs are met within the plan.
+ Participate in the development of a cross-BU regional and country business plans.
+ Assure that there is a SYSS Top project pursuit list and provide leadership in strategic project pursuit decisions in coordination with country/area sales leaders.
+ Assure that Consultative Selling is fully implemented.
+ Coordinate sales resources needed for growth.
+ Work closely with other sales leaders and channels to develop annual sales budgets.
+ New products, applications and/or acquisitions introduction to the local market.
+ Management and support
+ Ensure performance of POR bookings and sales.
+ Develop programs and measures for insuring continued productivity improvement within the sales and channels organizations.
+ Maintain and communicate knowledge of competitive strategies and deliverables.
+ Manage the discount authorization process (DoA's) for SYSS.
+ Manage the Export Compliance process.
+ Ensure the staff are correctly trained, developed and equipped to meet their objectives.
+ Manage and improve the work processes and procedures for quotations, proposals, applications and services for all pre-sales and after-sales activities to exceed customers' expectations and deliver financial commitments to the company.

+ Provide direction on target accounts based on current strategies.
+ Proactively utilize high level selling to maintain and grow customer base and presence
+ Maintain key customer contacts & relationships.
+ Support and drive Emerson internal programs (e.g. Think Customer) within the sales organization.
+ Behave ethically in all business dealings. Ensure all Emerson ethics policies and processes are embedded in day to day activities and that adequate training of all reporting personnel is completed and regularly reviewed.
+ Ensure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company's Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper.

**For this role, you will need:**

+ Automation Industry experience (instruments, analyzers, valves or control systems) desirable
+ Proven background in proactive selling.
+ Management experience/able to motivate and lead teams.
+ Effective written and verbal communicator able to relate to employees and to customers at all levels.
+ Ability to work within a complex matrix organization.
+ Fluency in Spanish and English (Advanced).
+ On-site in Mexico City, Mexico Location.
+ Willingness to travel as much time as the business and people management requires (Up to 50%).
