**Introduction**
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in desktop application testing and a backend built on Oracle. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks using TestComplete, WinAppDriver or similar.
**Your role and responsibilities**
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for desktop applications.
Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using TestComplete or WinAppDriver.
Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand application features and architecture.
Validate backend data integrity through Oracle database queries.
Identify, log, and track defects, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in code reviews, test planning, and strategy discussions.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
5+ years of experience in test automation for desktop applications.
Strong expertise in TestComplete or WinAppDriver (at least one required).
Proficient in Oracle SQL - ability to write complex queries to validate backend processes.
Good understanding of test design techniques, SDLC, and QA methodologies.
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or VBScript is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Exposure to defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Experience in UI Automation using Selenium , Appium
