As a Continuous Improvement Engineering Intern , you will support initiatives focused on optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency across manufacturing and logistics areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Engineer, and this position is located in Guadalupe, Nuevo León.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in the identification and implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making.
- Participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops.
- Document current processes and propose enhancements using Lean tools.
- Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to drive improvements.
The Essentials – You Will Have:
- Be currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Industrial, Mechanical, or related).
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
The Preferred – You Might Also Have:
- Previous internship or academic project experience in manufacturing or logistics.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Minitab, or similar analytical tools.
- Availability to work 6 months in a full-time internship schedule.

What will you do?
Responsible for using Lean Six Sigma principles to successfully improve manufacturing processes and increase the Lean Culture throughout the manufacturing plant. Develop and implement projects focused on Value Stream to meet customer demand while achieving cost savings. Assess current state performance, identify gaps, visualize future state, and share best-in-class ideas and systems while supporting the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System (JCMS).
How will you do it?
Facilitate cross-functional teams to drive best-in-class performance in quality, material flow, and cost.
Conduct Value Stream Analysis and Future State Value Stream Mapping.
Collaborate with Continuous Improvement Manager to assess operations and develop implementation plans.
Coach team members on Lean principles and conduct training sessions.
Identify and implement model Lean lines and conduct 5S activities.
Prepare detailed plans and track project performance to ensure timely achievement of quality and savings goals.
Assist with the development and implementation of Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools, such as Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
6 years minimum experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with CAD software.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead projects and drive cultural changes within an organization.

We're looking for a highly skilled IT Process Improvement Analyst to join our team. As an IT Process Improvement Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping us drive innovation and excellence in our IT services.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT service management processes and be able to design, implement, maintain, measure, and improve them to ensure best practice adherence and efficient delivery of IT services.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI and machine learning technologies into our IT Event Management process
- Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of our IT processes
