Position Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Junior WordPress Developer to join our Legal Marketing agency. The Junior WordPress Developer is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of WordPress websites. This role requires a foundational understanding of WordPress structure and environment, basic PHP and JavaScript knowledge, and hands-on experience with HTML, CSS/SASS. The developer will assist in building and updating websites while learning best practices in performance, accessibility, and SEO.
Position Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins
- Convert simple wireframes or mockups into functional, responsive web pages
- Implement styles using CSS/SASS with attention to consistency and design accuracy
- Support debugging, troubleshooting, and bug fixes in existing websites
- Ensure websites follow best practices for mobile responsiveness and accessibility
- Collaborate with senior developers on integrating basic PHP and JavaScript functionality
- Perform website updates, content changes, and plugin maintenance
- Learn and support deployment processes in environments such as WP Engine
- Work with the design team, SEO team and senior developers to translate requirements into deliverables
- Communicate progress and challenges clearly with the team
- Provide support to SEO and project management teams for minor updates
- Stay proactive in learning new tools, workflows, and WordPress features
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback to improve technical skills
Minimum Requirements:
- English speaking and writing fluency required
- Familiarity with WordPress environment and structure
- Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, with experience in SASS
- Basic knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
- Ability to follow technical instructions and coding standards
- 1+ year of relevant experience (internship, freelance, or agency work)
- Experience working in managed hosting platforms (e.g., WP Engine, Kinsta, Flywheel)
- Familiarity with Git/version control
- Understanding of website performance basics
- Exposure to SEO concepts in web development
- Good communication skills with technical and non-technical teammates
- Proactive, collaborative, and open to feedback

Requirements
Experience Requirements
Proven Leadership: 5+ years of hands-on experience managing web development teams in multi-client, multi-project environments focused on services websites.
️ Digital Marketing & Web Development Expertise: Demonstrated success in leading web development teams within a digital marketing service—optimizing processes and driving exceptional results.
Agency Experience: Prior experience in multi-client, multi-project agency environments is required .
Technical Acumen: Possess a strong grasp of web development fundamentals and digital marketing technologies . While coding isn't required day-to-day, you must understand coding principles and speak the technical language fluently .
️ Effective Communicator: Excellent communication skills are a must. You should have proven experience communicating with Russian-speaking teams or be able to present a clear plan for effective engagement. Fluency in Russian is a plus.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years experience of software development and deployment of distributed multi-tier applications
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience using AWS technologies at scale in a production environment
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science
- Business fluency in written and verbal English
Preferred Qualifications
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations
- Experience delivering customer-driven software products at a high scale in a fast paced, technology first, rapid-growth company
- Full stack proficiency (e.g., Java, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, node.js, React)
- Experience taking a lead role delivering complex software systems to internal or external customers
- Experience with delegating work in parallel to accelerate delivery
- Experience in promoting high-quality standard in others across: documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, continuous integration and deployment

We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our remote team in Mexico (MX).
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
+ Actively provide support for resolution of L2 issues with detailed analysis
+ Aid in code fixes and rigorous testing where required
+ Good knowledge of Unix, SQL and scripting languages
+ Work on supporting product servers and clients on cutting-edge platforms
+ Contribute to our continuous improvement and continuous delivery
+ Continually focus on enhancing the performance of the applications
+ Work effectively in collaboration with other team members
+ Provide technical feedback and support to development teams
+ Perform detailed RCA of issues in production, and implement corrective actions
+ Validated collaboration and communication skills, being able to lead in a global environment
Basic Qualifications:
+ 3+ years of relevant experience in application maintenance and support
+ Unix, SQL and knowledge of other scripting languages
+ Knowledge of programming language - preferably Java
