The Business Senior Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

**Responsibilities**:

- Define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals through partnership with decision makers, systems owners and end users

**Role purpose**:
The role holder will predominantly, support the U.S. and Latin America Regulatory Reporting and RWA maintenance and change delivery programs; as well as, the U.K. Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and other local regulators within the America’s Region that impact the Region’s Regulatory Reporting teams’ calculations, processes, data sourcing and deliverables / submissions - i.e. implementation of Basel III Reforms in the United States of America and Latin America countries, in terms of both reporting and disclosures, coupled with on-going monitoring of regulatory developments issued by The Federal Reserve Board (‘FRB’), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (‘OCC’), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (‘FDIC’) -(collectively, ‘the US Agencies’), Mexican Central Bank (Banxico), Other Latin America’s Regulators.

The Project Management and Business Analysis Lead is a position that combines the responsibilities of both a project manager and business analyst; essentially overseeing the entire assigned project lifecycle and the regulatory reporting change and maintenance programmes. These include from understanding business needs to execute the solution, ensuring alignment between technical implementation and strategic business goals on time. As part of the Capital, Statistical and Regulatory Reporting Value Stream the role holder leads change initiation, design and delivery of the Prudential Regulatory Reporting projects and is ultimately accountable for successful delivery and ensuring its benefits realization.

This individual will also work with Finance and IT teams, data officers, process owners and data input owners to ensure that the risks inherent in each process or system are identified and managed through the delivery of effective controls In addition, the role holder will document the business process controls and ensure full syndication and approval from Risk Stewards, Risk Owners, Controls Office, and Control Owner and lead internal and external audits and assurance reviews

**Main activities**:

- Deliver high quality, detailed business requirements, process design documentation, cost-benefit analysis, and clear choice estimations.

Job Description :
Work with stakeholders to collect and document business and functional requirements.
Analyze current banking processes, products, and systems to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
Map existing workflows and propose enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
Support the implementation of new banking products, services, or regulatory changes.
Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
Experience working with Developers, testers, and product owners in a Agile team
Experience working with Stories, Jira, or any other SDLC tool
Knowledge of core banking systems and digital banking trends
Assist in project planning, testing, and implementation phases.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide post-implementation support.
Ensure solutions comply with banking regulations and internal policies.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on business processes.
Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
Lead meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed.
Analyze financial and operational data to support business decisions.
Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a Business Sys. Analysis Senior Specialist to join our team in GDL, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX).

Who we're looking for

Toyota's OneTech Enterprise Technology Strategy and Architecture (ETSA) team is looking for a passionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Business Analyst who will drive value from our Enterprise and Business Architecture practice across OneTech and the business.

The primary areas of responsibility for this role are to support both the core Business Analyst practice areas (including requirements gathering and analysis, process mapping with BPMN, and stakeholder communication) as well as the supporting the Business and Enterprise Architecture practice areas (driving value to stakeholders).

The person in this role will add thought leadership and velocity to the practice.

What you'll be doing
- Performs Business Analyst requirements gathering and analysis to capture and document business requirements using Business Architecture concepts such as capabilities and value streams.
- Collaborates with both the business and technical stakeholders to perform process mapping in BPMN for both current state and future state to meet business needs
- Works closely with the OneTech Strategy team to facilitate strategic enterprise efforts and share information and insights in both directions
- Abstract and synthesize information to support the Business and Enterprise Architecture practice areas and other stakeholders
- Performs administrative tasks around tools used for Business Analysis

What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, strategy, or another related field
- 6+ years of Business Architecture experience, or other related field experience
- Holistic thinker with the ability to examine vast business ecosystems and deliver value across the strategy execution spectrum
- Ability to abstract and synthesize information and to collaborate across teams
- Deep understanding of how to build process flows using BPMN
- Experience with defining metrics for a technology practice to measure success of the Business Analysis program
- Personal aptitudes including being creative/innovative, collaborative, proactive, respectful yet persuasive, thinks "big picture" and strategically, with a strong grasp of technology
- Strong communication skills, oral and written, with both technical and business audiences

Added bonus if you have
- Experience using tools to create Agile-focused requirements and BPMN process flow diagrams
- Experience using a business architecture tool, such as Bizzdesign, Sparx, Ardoq, etc.
