The IT Network Engineer provides on-site IP network support for AVEVA office in Mexico City and remote support for other AVEVA global offices.
You will implement and support network and security infrastructures and services in a large enterprise.
This is a mid-level network engineering position with terrific opportunity for the candidate to gain experience in IP networking and cyber security.
**Responsibilities - You will do:**
+ Helping implement new networks, hardware upgrades and hardware replacement.
+ Implementing network infrastructure changes, including Moves, Adds and Changes.
+ Performing software upgrades and patching management activities on network devices such as routers and switches, and on security appliances such as firewalls and Web Applications firewalls.
+ Troubleshooting and resolving network and application problems reported.
+ Responding to service requests submitted by end users. Review and assign requests to other team members or, where appropriate, implement the requested service.
+ Managing incident and service requests according to established processes and escalate incident tickets to third-party service providers or to Senior Network Engineers.
+ Helping update network monitoring tools by following approved processes as well as helping maintain documents and data associated with network infrastructures and services such as CMDB, FAQ, helpdesk scripts and detailed network designs.
+ Accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
+ Provide on-call coverage as a member of a team providing 24x7 support.
**Skills and qualifications - You will have:**
+ 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting IP networks
+ Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN and WiFi technologies and protocols
+ Good understanding of routing, switching, and security fundamentals such as firewalls, including working with firewall rules and configuration
+ Good understanding of networking concepts, including topics covered in Cisco CCNA
+ Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues and MS Windows operating system, including troubleshooting

Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings - carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. **Role Purpose**
Corning has an immediate opening for a motivated Junior Network Security Engineer with networking or firewall experience to join Corning's Global Cybersecurity Operations organization. This position is part of an expanding team aiming to limit Cybersecurity risks and protect our corporate capability using multiple layers of protection.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Physically install and connect firewalls and other security appliances based on documented procedures.
+ Install the latest vendor-approved stable firmware on appliances as required.
+ Monitor firewalls for up/down or issues, document, root cause analysis, and reporting.
+ Create virtual firewalls with appropriate configurations and policies.
+ Configure remote access VPN and site-to-site VPN functionality.
+ Configure firewall interfaces, network configurations, access control lists and policies, routing, remote access (VPN), and next-generation firewall feature sets implementing best practices.
+ Integrate firewall with VPN and other related security products/appliances as required.
+ Configure SIEM Integration
+ Create and manage firewall rulesets.
+ Collection, analysis, and change recommendations of configuration information to streamline support and minimize impact to manufacturing.
+ Collection and initial analysis of packet trace information and recommend corrective actions based on the analysis.
+ Consultation of technical documentation, bulletins, and release notes for known problems
+ Follow up on technical cases, including proper escalation and management of the case
+ Manage customer communications and expectations until the closure of each case, including vendor escalations, device RMA, and coordination support.
+ Create or maintain standard operating procedures.
+ Able to work on-site, hybrid, and remote, after hours and/or be part of an on-call rotation
**Experiences/Education - Required**
+ 1-3 years of relevant Firewall administration experience.

We are seeking a Greenfield Network Automation Engineer to design and build automation from the ground up for Arista-based environments.

Position Summary/Job Description

The role will architect and implement playbooks, frameworks, and automated test suites that provision, monitor, and validate large-scale network topologies running Arista EOS. This is a hands-on role spanning software engineering, network engineering, and DevOps owning the full SDLC, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and establishing the standards, controls, and telemetry needed for a high-scale, secure automation platform. Collaboration across development, test, and operations to deliver frictionless self-service for internal customers while improving reliability, speed, and security is a key to the role.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Design & Build Greenfield Automation
  • Architect reusable Ansible/Python frameworks, roles, and modules for Arista EOS.
  • Develop abstracted device classes/methods to provision, configure, and monitor devices at scale.

Global IT Service Operations and Support Professional
As a Global IT Service Operations and Support Professional at CEVA Servicios de Mexico, you will play a pivotal role within the Application Shared Capabilities Division. Your expertise will contribute significantly to enhancing our technology services and supporting our business objectives through effective project management, implementation, and operational support.
About The Role
You will be tasked with ensuring the successful execution of IT project management and service delivery. Your responsibilities will encompass managing project portfolios, ensuring adherence to timelines, scope, and resources while applying established IT methodologies and standards. This role is ideal for individuals looking to leverage their technical background and teamwork skills to make a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the management of IT projects and portfolios, ensuring the delivery aligns with established objectives in terms of time, scope, and budget.
  • Apply recognised IT methodologies and standards to define requirements, conduct feasibility analyses, and develop project specifications.
  • Utilise standard analytical tools to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
  • Draft functional requirements and develop testing plans while monitoring production incidents to ensure smooth operational continuity.
  • Provide support for both technical and business applications, managing maintenance and operational activities.
  • Assist in the installation, adjustment, and preservation of data, facilitating minor development efforts or workarounds as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, norms, and regulations throughout all operations.
  • Occasionally provide out-of-hours support for designated functional areas, ensuring critical business operations remain uninterrupted.
  • Collaborate effectively with global teams to diagnose and resolve service support requests, fostering a teamwork-oriented environment.
  • Engage in testing, monitoring, and adjustments of applications to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Document both technical and functional processes extensively, maintaining comprehensive records that serve as references for best practices.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technologies or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, enabling effective communication across global teams.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of technical experience in the implementation, support, or delivery of technology services and projects.
  • Knowledge of various programming languages including Java, JSP, Python, and experience with databases such as Cassandra, Elassandra, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools including Kibana, OpenSearch, and Grafana.
  • Foundational understanding of Kubernetes, pod management, Dead Letter Queues (DLQ), and systems like ServiceNow, Remedy, and OTRS.
  • Proficient use of SharePoint and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Desirable: ITIL Foundation certification and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proven capacity for teamwork, autonomy, and prioritising tasks while adapting to flexible schedules.
