**A Day in the Life**

The RoleWe are seeking a Processes and Continuous Improvement Lead to lead new lines implementation, process optimization, production line balancing, and resource allocation for engineering projects. This role plays a crucial part in designing, maintaining, and improving production processes while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities- Design and optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct time and motion studies to balance workloads, minimize idle time, and increase productivity.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to reduce waste, improve operational efficiency, and boost competitiveness.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute expansion, automation, and process improvement projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Optimize the use of materials, energy, and labor, implementing cost-reduction strategies to improve profitability.
- Develop and oversee standardized procedures to improve product quality and minimize defects.
- Ensure the proper operation of key equipment, including mixing, encapsulation, filling, sealing, and labeling machinery, recommending improvements and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, NOMs, GMP, ISO 45001) and promote a safety-first culture.
- Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and production reports to identify areas for improvement and make strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, production, quality, and maintenance teams to align strategies and enhance manufacturing efficiency.
- Analyze workflow and remove bottlenecks to improve efficiency and reduce waiting times.
- Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact, such as energy savings, waste optimization, and efficient resource utilization.
- Actively participate in the implementation of corrective and continuous improvement actions to comply with quality management and food safety standards.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- +3 years in engineering coordination or leadership roles.
- Opening new lines or plants, and leading PMO projects.
- Strong experience in project management, production process design, and continuous improvement.
- Proven track record of applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in process design and improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Advanced knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Strong skills in time and motion analysis for resource optimization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ERP systems, MS Project, Asana, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
- Experience with quality and safety management systems, including relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or FSSC 22000.

- Supervise QC personnel assigned to value streams, NDT inspectors, and certifying staff.
- Organize QC inspection resources to support the achievement of CSW on-time delivery and turn-around time goals.
- Oversee inspectors’ activities to ensure all inspections are performed in accordance with Engine Manual and Customer requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain inspection personnel competence, and the use and recall of inspection gages.
- Drive the recording, and handling of quality records in accordance with Quality System requirements, and monitor the correct transactions made by inspectors in ERP system (Syteline).
- Facilitate training to inspection personnel on new and updated Quality system documentation and Engineering approved data.
- Perform DAKOTA safety audits.
- Control of quality Control and FPI inspection tools.
- Certain other activities or responsibilities inherent to the position.
Requirements:
- B.S. Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar position. Experience in Aerospace industry preferred.
- Bilingual. Spanish and English (90% conversational and written).
- Knowledge: Computer skills using MS Office (Word and Excel), and familiar with transactions in ERP system.
