- Tracking day to day activities of an engineering development team, including electrical, mechanical, software, verification and validation engineers. Prioritizes engineering resources. Ensures engineering deliverables are on-time and meet quality expectations. Acts as primary interface between internal groups.
- Tracks project open issues, gathers regular updates and drives issues to closure.
- Acts as the primary technical interface to the customer. Attends customer PDT meetings. Manages and negotiates customer requirements, change requests, and unwritten expectations.
- Supports customers presentations and acts as the primary product interface to customers on technical topics
- Coordinates engineering quoting activity and reviews proposal for accuracy.
- Provides the overall product engineering interface to manufacturing and prototype.
- Supports the build of engineering development samples.
- Specific skills needed including system/tool knowledge and experience level of the tool:
- Proven track record of successful launches of automotive products, with a comprehensive knowledge of product development practices in a Tier 1 automotive company.
- Experience with ASPICE and Functional Safety
- Experience with Cluster, HUD's or other HMI products
- Working knowledge of structured problem solving (8D, 5 Phase).
- Knowledge of various in-vehicle communication networks CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet, etc.
- Minimum level of overall experience and education required for this role:
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Science Engineering; Masters preferred
- 2+ years of experience in technical leadership role/technical program management
- 4-6 years of experience regarding Responsibility / main Activities (listed below) in serial electronic (preferred) industry
- Excellent Customer interface and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical systems in simple terms. Controlled under significant pressure.

- Develop the policies and ways of working for the team to ensure seamless deployment of the program.
- Manage escalations, resolve issues and take appropriate decisions to support the program delivery by the teams.
