**Main Responsabilities**:

- Works with factory departments to ensure inventory procedures are being followed and
- consults when discrepancies are found.
- Conducts inventory audits for individual departments and/or entire units and report findings with
- corrective action in order to detail process improvements.
- Supervises wage employees counting parts within a unit or units to ensure all parts are counted
- during the audit cycle.
- Oversees audits by specific part number to ensure the inventory stated is accurate and
- inventory is being consumed and relieved properly as it flows through the factory or factories.
- Analyzes, dispositions and reports surplus inventory to optimize inventories.

Job Summary:
Ensures the integrity of the financial and physical inventory.

Principal Responsibilities:

- Identifies and researches variances between the financial and physical inventory.
- Adjusts, audits and submits journal entry corrections.
- Assesses stock levels and reorder status.
- Participates in and ensures accuracy of periodic and special inventory counts. May reconcile discrepancies between financial inventories and physical counts.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Retention:

- Recruit, interview and hire Inventory Control, Stockroom, Shipping, and Inventory Analysts.
- Coach Inventory Control staff in the interviewing/hiring process.
- Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.

Employee and Team Development:

- Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
- Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.
- Coach and mentor Inventory Control staff to deliver excellence to every internal and external customer.
- Create and manage succession plans for Inventory Control function.

Performance Management:

- Establish clear measurable goals and objectives by which to determine individual and team results (i.e. operational metrics, results against project timelines, training documentation, attendance records, knowledge of operational roles and responsibilities, personal development goals).

At GXO, we are looking our next Senior Manager, Inventory Control LATAM , for our team in Estado de México.

Responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for managing, controlling, and ensuring the accuracy of each of the organization's clients' inventory to ensure the proper performance of logistics operations, minimize financial risks, and prevent loss or damage to them.


Responsabilities:

• Manage and control the movement and storage of inventory within the organization's facilities.

• Ensure that physical inventories within the facilities are reconciled with the inventory balances recorded within the management system (WMS).

• Implement and oversee all audits and counts, ensuring inventory accuracy.

• Conduct testing and develop analytical work models to determine the personnel required to perform the audits and counts necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Develop and execute inventory control and management strategies that ensure product availability and prevent inventory loss and damage for our customers.

• Oversee all operations related to the various inventory control and management functions, from product receiving, storage, inventory taking, and distribution.

• Collaborate in the selection and implementation of advanced inventory management systems.

• Identify potential operational and financial risks related to customer inventory and develop action plans to mitigate impacts on service or accounting.

• Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure record accuracy and compliance with established quality and safety standards.


Requirements:

• Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or similar.

• At least 10 years of experience in Inventory Control, preferably within the auditing, finance, and logistics sectors.

• Proficiency in WMS inventory management systems.

• Proficiency in inventory management systems, control methodologies, inventory counting and management, cycle counting, wall-to-wall, shortage management, surplus management, FIFO, FEFO, serialized products, obsolescence, turnover, A, B, C stratification of damaged products.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to interact and communicate with different levels of the organization and customers.

• Advanced conversational English is essential (all process will be in English).

• Willingness to travel.
