MES Engineer is responsible for supporting activities such as requirements gathering, testing, implementation and use of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Position is expected to operate with some supervision and some autonomy. Support project team and normal production, and proactive on continuous improvement ideas
Responsibilities
- Play a key role and responsible to coordinate MES Implementation in the Facility for current and new projects.
- Develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and process automation systems
- Manage resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues in the suites
- Planning and execution of plant projects involving automation changes and process improvements including lump sum capital projects
- Assist with tech transfer of new processes into the facility
- Provide technical support to both internal and external customers.
- Analyze all problems that occurred during NPI, execute the corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) together with related department.
- Create CAPEX and follow until final approval for new lines and or equipment
- Review automation and Manufacturing related SOP's, Functional Specifications, and work instructions as a result of CAPA, equipment/process changes, error prevention activities, etc.
- Identify areas of unnecessary cost. Research methods and procedures for cost reduction, work cell development and material flow improvement.
Requirements:
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- 3-5 Years of experience in manufacturing and materials area.
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics or Mechanics or related field.
- Experience in a high mix manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skill in MES: Manufacturing Execution architecture
- Well-versed on statistical tools such as SPC, QC tools, FMEA, DOE and software like Minitab

Introduction
The Power Procurement Manufacturing Engineer (PME) provides support to the supplier manufacturing line to assure production processes for all Power Systems products according to IBM standards. The PME role interfaces with Development and supplier Engineering/Manufacturing to support the introduction of New Products and ensure EC (Engineering Change) implementation at supplier manufacturing line for New Products and current production products.
Your Role And Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities of the Procurement Manufacturing Engineer (PME) includes:
- Monitor supplier Quality performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Development of New Products and ensure all products and processes are supported in manufacturing to meet General Availaiblity (GA) schedule
- Ensure EC's (Engineering Changes) are implemented correctly and on-time
- Provide supplier manufacturing support to ensure orders are released correctly in IBM systems, process oversight to ensure technical requirements are met by supplier, review/approve qualification plans and Offspec requests, NewC/MFC validation (config/placement rules)

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Fluency in English – Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Educational Background – Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
- Technical Skills – Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
Experience

As an Oracle EBS Business Systems Analyst, you will work as a liaison between our varied business/end users and IT systems development teams to deliver and enhance IT based solutions. This position will work with business users using Oracle enterprise resource planning (ERP) modules such as (WIP, BOM, INV, OPM, etc) to improve results and tools. You will also have opportunities to be a member of a team that deploys new Oracle EBS implementations across our different Business Unit partners.
**In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Relative to Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations, identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, define scope and objectives.
+ Analyze existing systems and streamline business processes to reduce complexity and improve operational efficiency.
+ Make recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished using existing or new technology.
+ Research business requirements and document the relationships between the different components of the applications systems (i.e., end users, business processes, data, applications, and devices).
+ Translate business requirements into application requirements. Guide users through implementation projects as well as leading actions needed to optimally roll out new sites or functionality.
+ Understand available and future Oracle Functionalities that have not yet been deployed but may deliver new value to the business.
+ Collaborate with IT and functional teams to design and document both functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and reports.
+ Design and Deploy Oracle Functional setups to support Oracle EBS Manufacturing Modules, such as WIP, BOM, MRP, and Inventory Management.
+ Review and troubleshoot functional issues that may arise as part of the implementation flow during the various testing and cut over milestones.
+ Participate in global Communities of Practice to share standard methodologies, best practices, education, and results delivered by other IT solutions groups.

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
+ 5 to 7+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a focus on Oracle EBS, specifically within Manufacturing Operations.
+ Solid understanding of Oracle EBS Manufacturing Modules: WIP, BOM, MRP, Inventory, and Shop Floor Management.
+ Demonstrable ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work optimally with multicultural diverse teams.
+ Advanced written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to communicate and drive conversations with small or big audiences.
+ Demonstrable experience with successful ERP implementations and/or problem solving is a plus.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:**
+ Experience with SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and reporting purposes.
+ Experience working with Global Organizations
+ Certifications such as Oracle E-Business Suite Certified Implementation Specialist or similar.
