Job Summary:
The Contracts Analyst is responsible for preparing and reviewing contracts across multiple commodities. Core responsibilities include drafting and transmitting contracts, processing broker and counterparty confirmations, and maintaining internal status reports for outstanding trades. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small-team environment, ensuring all tasks are completed in alignment with Hartree’s established processes. Strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and sound judgment in determining when to escalate issues are essential. Candidates should also demonstrate curiosity beyond their immediate tasks, ask thoughtful questions related to their role, and consistently apply effective decision-making skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a small team of analysts primarily responsible for generating, preparing, and reviewing various commodity terms related but not limited to Power, Gas, Crude Oil, and petroleum products
- Reconcile trade details across internal systems against broker and counterparty confirmations
- Obtain necessary internal approvals in a timely manner
- Coordinate with various internal teams to resolve discrepancies in contract terms
- Analyze any proposed changes to deal terms, ensuring alignment with company standards
- Liaise daily with regional offices and escalate any contract-related issues
- Distribute daily Contract Status Reports for management review
- Support special projects and initiatives assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- B.A. degree or equivalent
- Minimum one-year of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required; familiarity with SharePoint and Power BI is a plus
- Must possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with proficiency in both spoken and written English (Proven C1 or higher level)
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks
- Previous experience with commodities or contract management is a plus.
- Experience in Tempest, Allegro, CXL, Econfirm, BunkerTech, and/or Epsilon is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with Tenants, Vendors, Clients, and Team Members
- Incoming calls to the office
- Collect necessary information for applicant screening
- Schedule property showings and inspections
- Transcribe property inspection videos
- Send contracts to new clients
- Maintain electronic tenant and property files
- Other responsibilities as needed
- Coordinate basic household maintenance projects
- Review home inspection reports to identify lease violations & maintenance needs

**What We're Looking For**

+ Advise and arrange travel for corporate business customers (both individuals and groups)
+ Ensure compliance to customers' agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements

+ Collaborate within your team to coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to improve service levels
