Join our team as a Finance Manager , overseeing accounting, tax compliance, cash flow, and financial reporting in a multinational environment.


Key Responsibilities


1. Financial Accounting & Tax Compliance

  • Issue invoices through the Mexican tax portal, ensuring accuracy, legality, and timely submission.
  • Serve as the day-to-day liaison with the external accounting firm; provide data, reconcile ledgers, and review working papers to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/annual statutory financial statements and internal management reports in line with group consolidation standards.

2. Receivables, Credit Control & Cash Management

  • Monitor customer collections and drive recovery of outstanding receivables.
  • Implement credit-assessment procedures, perform account reconciliations, assess credit risk, and propose mitigation measures.
  • Prepare cash-flow forecasts, schedule payments, and optimize fund usage.
  • Maintain accurate AR/AP ledgers and supporting documentation for book-to-bank consistency.

3. Inventory Control

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to perform stock counts and ensure system records match physical inventory.

4. Cost & Expense Control

  • Review and approve travel requests, verify legitimacy, and arrange timely reimbursements.
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget, track actual spending, and reduce unnecessary costs.

5. Communication, Reporting & Compliance Support

  • Report directly to group finance HQ, ensuring transparent and consistent information flow.
  • Act as the bridge between HQ and local management for financial matters.
  • Support audits, internal control reviews, and ad-hoc financial inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with local labor regulations and liaise with recognized trade unions when necessary.


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or related field (CPA/ACCA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant finance experience; multinational or foreign-invested company background preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of Mexican tax regulations, cross-border tax rules, and proven tax compliance record.
  • Proficiency in Mexican accounting systems (e.g., Contpaqi, Aspel) and advanced Excel/data analysis skills.
  • Strong English communication skills (spoken & written).
  • Hope you're Chinese native speaker.

About the role:

b) Strong tax background and excellent client service skills, who can work California hours, working with- US Tax Support- State Tax, US Corporate Income Tax, US Federal Tax, SAP, Sales and Use Tax.
c) CPA
d) Fluent English
e) Big4 background
a) Proven experience with being the point person within US Taxes and with the Payments & Treasury teams for all income tax payments.
b) Experience in verifying the US income tax payments and refunds are appropriately booked in the GL, and preparing book-tax adjustments that support the quarterly tax provision.

**Job Title**
Senior Tax Supervisor Control & Compliance

**Position Purpose**
In charge of ensuring the correct computation and recording of current tax provision, value added tax and withholding taxes for Mexican entities. Reviews book reconciliations of AZ Group entities of tax accounts. Should be aware and have knowledge of all transactions that are taking place in entities group, in order to verify that all activities are complying with tax provisions in his/her entities' responsibility and validates proper reconciliation with tax tool recons system. Performs periodical review on the integrity of the CFDI issuance according to accounting. Supports with special projects implementation and operational guidance compliance.

**Primary Accountabilities**
- Tax Calculations -In charge of reviewing monthly and annual tax payment calculation. He should have high level understanding of monthly tax determination including electronic accounting, electronic invoices, importation duties applicable to tax payments to ensure proper tax compliance of ~ 40MM USD Income Tax and Value Added Tax annual payments of ~ 13MM USD.
- Electronic Accounting and invoices - Validates that E-accounting information to be submitted before Tax Authorities is correct and validates that tax tool reconciliation is accordingly to monthly and annual tax payments for a proper compliance. Reviews and verifies the integrity of accounting records, and follow up corrections with corresponding users of all departments to ensure the information file to SAT between accounting and tax calculation. Ensures that the electronic invoices are being issued properly, identifies discrepancies and performs actions to correct de deviations.
- Intercompany review - Validates all Intercompany transactions and filings required by Authorities and prepares transfer pricing information for internal y external usage. Elaborates BEPS informative returns for local and master based on TP reports prepared by external advisors which required high expertise on transfer pricing and international rules.
- Tax accounting - In charge of end of period, monthly and annual accounting closure and GL records reviews, updates and changes with respect to tax accounts for MXGAAP and USGAAP. Reviews and confirms that all tax accounts are duly recorded and its integrity in balance sheet for a healthy financial information reporting. Validates that all calculations are duly supported with proper documentation ( Xml files, transfers, calculations, invoices, etc.)
- Tax Reforms and updates -Review tax reforms and updates frequently and provides comments to manager, prepares presentation for third parties and keep company aware of changes and updates. Ensures that tax processes are well -documented and verifies new tax procedures when applicable in order to keep internal controls correctly and in place.

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Accounting Taxes
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Type of Experience: Knowledge in annual and monthly federal tax calculations, tax accounting, transfer pricing, electronic accounting, electronic invoicing.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Knowledge of Income Tax, VAT and other federal taxes; analysis of deferred taxes, computer literate in Excel spreadsheet manipulation.
Other / Preferred: Advanced computer skills and strong English skills.

Within BSO, the Tax Operations and Compliance team is responsible for meeting the global tax and statutory compliance requirements and the GL team is responsible for the maintenance of the general ledger and preparation of the consolidation reports.

The department balances a mix of internal resources and third parties to efficiently meet global compliance requirements. The department focuses on transparent and accurate status reporting, maintaining a strong internal control framework, using technology and standard processes to meet its operational targets and satisfy partners, GSTC (Global Strategic Tax & Customs).

The Tax Operations & Compliance Specialist - Planet Taxes, directly supports the LEGO Group drive and improve tax compliance processes and maintain the status of the world’s most reputable company focusing on the Extended Producer Responsibilities, a practice and a policy approach in which producers take responsibility for management of the disposal of products they produce once those products are designated as no longer useful by consumers.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Preparation of data relevant for Environmental Fees declarations and returns to be sent to third party service provider.
- Preparation of non-standardized data requests coming from the business and GSTC regarding Planet Tax requirements.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual tax/fee workbooks.
- Perform tax payments.
- Contribute to tax issue log through documenting tax incident.
- Ensure proper documentation practices are followed and supporting files are "audit ready".
- Reconciling tax payments vs accounting, Validating output and identifying of high risk transactions through analysis.

**Do you have what it takes?**:

- Bachelors in accounting or finance, CPA
- Accounting / Tax Certifications
- 2+ years’ experience of relevant tax experience.
- Ability to work independently to drive successful completion of projects, compliance objectives, and identification of process improvements.
- Ability to collaborate globally with internal partners, global third-party service providers, and compliance bodies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
