Principales Responsabilidades Del Puesto

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within the Company Product Management Board with emphasis in the Advanced Production Quality Planning process
  • This Product Engineer Sr. needs to be a coach for the product engineering team.
  • Under general supervision, design, develop, and implement custom engineered solutions meeting customer product specifications and all industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Acquires and applies engineering judgment to problem solving in both design work and in production issues.
  • Under general supervision, perform standard design calculations and support Engineering efforts on critical projects which includes idea/ concept development, prototype evaluation, concept verification, and production design validation.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of engineering design, documentation, and bill of material for products on both a domestic and global level.
  • Design and implement verification and validation programs or DVP&R to ensure designs are adequate for intended purpose.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves product integrity issues with an appropriate sense of urgency. Supports VAVE and product transfers.
  • Under general supervision, this position does research customer requirements, presents design options, and documents results for project team or engineering management.

Critical Competencies for Success

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive or alike Engineering Degree
  • 1 years of proven experience in product development.

  • Proven experience on Product Launching or New Product Introduction/Development
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of PLM Systems, Engineering Databases and Engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge in 3D CAD (Inventor and Solid works desirable)
  • Knowledge of Engineering terms and standard Engineering practices and techniques.
  • Knowledge Mechanical Engineering Fundamentals.
