We are looking for a **Windows Server Engineer** with strong expertise in upgrading and maintaining Windows Server environments and VMware infrastructure. This role requires hands-on technical skills, the ability to work independently, and availability to perform critical maintenance tasks.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Upgrade Windows Server 2016 to newer supported versions.
+ Apply security and firmware patches to VMware ESXi hosts.
+ Update PC systems including OS and Microsoft Office.
+ Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and provide post-upgrade support.
+ Assess system compatibility and plan upgrade paths.
+ Perform backups and validate systems before and after upgrades.
+ Troubleshoot issues during and after upgrade processes.
+ Apply ESXi patches using vSphere Lifecycle Manager or CLI tools.
+ Perform host reboots and VM migrations with minimal downtime.
+ Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies and security standards.
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure roles.
+ Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 and newer versions.
+ **Hands-on experience upgrading Windows desktop from OS 10 to 11 (mandatory).**
+ **Experience in desktop support (PC systems, troubleshooting, user support).**
+ Familiarity with VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi patching.
+ Experience with PC OS and Microsoft Office upgrades.

Funciones del Puesto
El Administrador de Servidores Windows Nivel 2 brindará soporte y administración diarios de la infraestructura de servidores Windows, garantizando un funcionamiento eficiente, la resolución oportuna de problemas técnicos y el cumplimiento de las políticas y estándares de TI de la organización. Este puesto implica trabajar en estrecha colaboración con clientes internos para resolver problemas escalados y realizar tareas avanzadas de resolución de problemas, administración de parches y optimización.
• Realizar tareas de mantenimiento rutinario en servidores Windows, incluyendo actualizaciones, parches y copias de seguridad.

· Asegurar la disponibilidad de lossistemas de acuerdo con los niveles de servicio establecidos
· Planificar y ejecutar mantenimientosprogramados en la infraestructura de Active Directory y DNS.
· Realizar health checks regulares en lainfraestructura de Active Directory y DNS.
· Documentar los resultados y tomaracciones correctivas cuando sea necesario.

Consultor de Infraestructura
- Licenciatura en Informática, Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales o afín
- Nivel avanzado de inglés
- 5 años de experiencia en puesto similar
- Operación de plataformas Microsoft Active Directory y DNS Server
- Diseño, configuración, implementación y migración en ambientes de tamaño medio/enterprise de Active Directory
- Conocimiento avanzado en PowerShell
- Habilidad en manejo de sistemas, tecnologías vigentes (hardware, software, procesos) y estándares de la industria como ITIL
- Resolver y prevenir problemas relacionados con Active Directory y DNS en sistemas críticos
- Asegurar la disponibilidad de los sistemas según niveles de servicio
- Planificar y ejecutar mantenimientos en la infraestructura de Active Directory y DNS
- Realizar revisiones de salud (health checks) en la infraestructura
- Documentar resultados y tomar acciones correctivas cuando sea necesario
