About the team As part of the New Construction Data Science team, you will be an integral partner to the New Construction Product & Business Teams. Through organizing, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets, you’ll have the unique opportunity to empower both short and long-term decision-making for a better customer experience.

Our team’s structure is very flat and you will soon find yourself working directly with Senior Leadership. You’ll also be part of the broader Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics team to learn from your peers and collaborate on various interesting projects. About the role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will analyze how customers interact with new construction listings, how builders and customers interact with each other, and how builders work with Zillow. You will provide thought leadership in optimizing customer/builder experience and Zillow revenue.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyze, interpret, and visualize large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support Zillow’s New Construction business.

  • Effectively communicate complex analytical findings to diverse stakeholders, translating technical concepts into actionable insights and recommendations, and getting stakeholders buy-in.

  • Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define key metrics, goals, and objectives, and develop data-driven strategies to track and achieve them.

  • Utilize causal inference techniques and novel experimental designs to evaluate the launches of pilot programs.

  • Understanding revenue attributes using various modeling techniques.

  • Effectively manage prioritization and planning with key stakeholders.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members on executing analytic requests and help unblocking through code reviews & best practice sharing.

  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to design and optimize data pipelines and workflows to support efficient data collection, storage, and processing. 

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

  • A strong understanding of statistical concepts, measurement issues, and inference techniques.

  • Experience articulating and translating business questions and using statistical techniques to arrive at answers.

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, along with some experience with visualization tools and working with terabyte sized clickstream data.

  • Experience with ETL pipelines, scheduling and productionalizing. (Airflow, Spark, or similar experience is a plus)

  • Ability to think creatively and provide thoughtful, agile insights

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated issues and detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks with concrete action plans

As a Senior Data Scientist at StreetEasy, you will employ a broad variety of data science skills, all with the aim of creating a fantastic consumer and partner experience at StreetEasy.   • Experimentation: can we standardize the way we run A/B tests and automate all our test analyses? How can we run 10x more experiments in 1-2 years?

  • Data modeling and data architecture: how do we structure our data so that it can easily answer most questions? How do we expose the data to other teams?

  • Advanced English proficiency, as most of the stakeholders are US based

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues and detailed analysis into simple, structured frameworks with concrete action plans.

  • A track record of running 80-20 analysis, i.e. the ability to quickly solve problems with data in the fastest, most efficient way possible.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL & Python (or another programming language); experience using Tableau and Databricks.

  • 5+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem solving.

  • Strong product sense and business acumen. The ability to connect the dots between business needs and the data.

  • Experience working with x-functional partners, especially engineering, product and marketing

Nice to Have

Follow Up Boss is the supercharged CRM and critical operating system for agents and teams who are helping guide buyers on their journey to find their home. About the role

As a member of the FUB+ Infrastructure & Security team you will architect, develop and deploy systems, processes and environments that support numerous services developed by engineers within the FUB+ engineering organization.  You will help us deliver the most reliable and performant experience for our customers and keep our existing infrastructure stable, while we continue to scale in a steady and reliable way.

You will share on-call duties with the rest of the FUB+ Infrastructure & Security team.  We are looking for an individual with a demonstrated track record of building secure, large scale, highly available services using automation and Infrastructure as Code, who is well versed in cloud architecture, and loves to delight the engineers they support.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will:

  • Take shared ownership and responsibility for the infrastructure, reliability, scalability and performance of our applications and services.

  • Interact with the engineers we support and help to drive improvements for developer environments and productivity.

  • Identify and propose concrete steps to best improve existing infrastructure.

  • Assist in determining top infrastructure priorities.

As a member of the FUB+ Infrastructure & Security team you will architect, develop and deploy systems, processes and environments that support numerous services developed by engineers within the FUB+ engineering organization.  You will help us deliver the most reliable and performant experience for our customers and keep our existing infrastructure stable, while we continue to scale in a steady and reliable way.

You will share on-call duties with the rest of the FUB+ Infrastructure & Security team.  We are looking for an individual with a demonstrated track record of building secure, large scale, highly available services using automation and Infrastructure as Code, who is well versed in cloud architecture, and loves to delight the engineers they support.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will:
