What you will do  
You will be responsible for the Supplier Quality Management of the STIVA Campus reporting directly to the Quality Director for Chillers Americas and supporting STIVA Materials and Operation leadership. You will be responsible for evolving/transforming supplier and materials quality programs to meet manufacturing and product quality needs through internal alignment with program management, product engineering, mfg. quality, materials management, procurement and corporate supplier development engineering. Evaluate best business practices and deploy effective programs to enhance supplier requirements, incoming inspection, timely nonconformance management and risk mitigation. 

How you will do it  

  • Develop annual quality program along with targets and performance indicators needed to achieve goals in alignment with PBU Quality owner. 

  • Directly manage Supplier Quality staff. 

  • Drive quality related projects and associated actions to closure across internal and supplier stakeholders 

  • Track/Drive Key Performance Indicators including material return rate & NCM inventory level. 

  • Perform internal audits to ensure conformity of ISO program and Continuous improvement. 

  • Responsible for Site Supplier Quality responsibilities of APQP and ECN management. 

  • Documenting and drive timely supplier corrective actions via Quality Tools. 

  • Avoid/mitigate mfg impact for supplier related areas. 

  • Partners with Supplier Development and performance Team. 

What we look for  
Required  

  • University degree and 8 Years experience. 5+ years of managing people and teams. 

  • Expertise in Quality/Lean Tools including: 8D, SPC, MSA, PPAP, Control Plan, Statistical Sampling methods, DMAIC, 5 Why, Kaizen, Poke Yoke, 5S. 

  • Experience in ISO 9001:2015 audits and overall quality management system. Experience with new product introduction and familiarity with phase gate approach. 

  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can fully complete tasks with minimal supervision. 

  • Proficient in general office procedures and Microsoft Office products. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization and its executive team. 

  • Strong customer service orientation. 

  • Spanish fluency and English proficiency. 

Preferred  

  • Formal training and certification in Lean or Six Sigma, internal auditing, ASQ, CQE or CQM. 

  • Post-secondary degree with an engineering focus. 

  • Project Management skills and/or experience.

Define, implement and disseminate health and safety policy at work and the environmental policy in your area.

Contribute to compliance (as applicable) objectives and targets for safety, health and environment.

Participate in the review of the system.

Provide resources for the implementation of the system.

Participate in Training programming system.
