At Brembo Apodaca, we are looking for a Quality Control Engineer to join our team in the automotive industry. This role plays a key part in ensuring the excellence of our products while collaborating directly with Production, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement areas.
 
Responsibilities
 
- Coordinate and supervise quality auditors’ activities, ensuring compliance with plans and objectives.
- Control and evaluate process and final audits, driving continuous improvement.
- Analyze key indicators such as PPMs and scrap levels to propose effective solutions.
- Train and develop technical personnel in final inspection, building competencies to ensure operational excellence.
- Implement corrective actions for nonconformities detected in internal or external audits.
- Manage and follow up on actions derived from customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Oversee and control scrap, rejects, and prototypes with a focus on resource optimization.
- Create, review, and keep quality documentation updated in line with BQS and IATF standards.
 
Requirements
- Passion for the automotive industry and experience working with global customers such as Ford, GM, Stellantis, and Tesla.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Previous experience in quality, manufacturing, or production, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes and painting/coating operations (preferred).
- Conversational English to communicate effectively in an international environment.
- Experience in the automotive sector and familiarity with IATF 16949:2016.
