The Supply Chain Director leads planning and inventory management strategy for the North American aftermarket and OE/OES business with a focus on meeting customer requirements to drive business growth. This role is accountable for planning inventory requirements, managing product flow, and ensuring company supply chain goals and KPIs are achieved. The supply chain director will work with the CPFR and forecasting teams to understand demand requirements and liaise with suppliers, operations, and distribution to ensure product and resources are in place to meet those requirements. The Supply Chain Director is accountable to ensuring we meet our customer fill rate, inventory turns, DOS, and supplier delivery KPIs. It is critical that this leader communicate, root cause, and recommend solutions to constraints across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate and drive alignment with key stakeholders across the business including planning, sales, product management, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and purchasing to ensure we have the right inventory at the right time in the right quantities to meet our customers’ expectations.
- Ensure disciplined, robust cyclical demand planning process and procedures are in place and executed against
- Sets and monitors inventory levels required to achieve service requirements for manufactured and purchased finished goods based on SKU level forecasts
- Establishes appropriate safety stocks to protect supply against demand variability and gaps to forecast accuracy
- Understand and ensure plans are in place for customer and sales driven events outside of normal demand
- Review team structure to ensure the team is staffed for success specifically as it relates to the following activities:
- Demand Planning
- PO Placement and Tracking
- Coordination with suppliers and internal manufacturing
- Collaboration with CPFR’s, sales, customer service, manufacturing, and distribution
- Understanding and following-up on key customer requirements
- Provide leadership, communication, coaching, motivation, and recognition of employees
- Represent the demand and inventory planning function on key cross-departmental projects as they arise in the business
Qualifications
- Business administration or logistics bachelor degree
- 10+ years’ experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management or related Supply Chain functions
- Bilingual
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP fundamentals (Oracle or SAP preferred but not required)
- Management and team building experience
- Excellent communication skills internally across levels within the organization and externally with customers
- Experience managing demand and inventory across an assortment with more than 12,000 SKUs sold at retail, online and through direct import channels.
- Automotive aftermarket experience is preferred, but not required
- Expert in data-driven decision making
- Proficient in MS Office required with advance Excel skills
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification or ISM CPSM certification preferred

**Position Overview**:
The Supply Chain Analyst II role will be heavily focused on data extraction & analysis supporting all aspects of the End to End Planning team in delivering key KPIs in the areas of service, working capital, and waste/IAR. The analyst must have exceptional proficiency with excel and PowerPoint, and a working knowledge of Power BI is desired. The Analyst will compile large data sets and organize that information in formats (reports, scorecards, dashboards, etc.) that demonstrate key actionable insights to enable faster decision making. The analyst will be responsible for making recommendations and will heavily interact with the Supply Planners to provide a broad exposure to all aspects of the function. In addition, this role will have primary responsibility to execute our deployment strategy to efficiently (and cost effectively) protect service while monitoring aging inventory to proactively eliminate inventory at risk.
**Responsibilities**:
- Compile daily and weekly deployment opportunity reports and build replenishment truckloads as needed to ensure inventory is in the correct locations to optimally fill customer orders.
- Support Finished Good Deployment from Hunt Valley Plant (expedite requisitions) & monitor open STOs to ensure timely receipt at DCs and associated availability in SAP.
- Execute ad-hoc redeployment requests and work with Transplace and our DCs to efficiently incorporate those requests into existing, planned stock transport orders. Communicate monthly redeployment reporting tracking monthly and YTD performance that enable loss tree creation and root cause analysis.
- Audit and Maintain Deployment Master Data Quarterly (and as needed) including deployment planned delivery times, maintain APO transportation lanes, and Deployment Tables.
- New Product support - Execute Inventory Investment Analyses (IIAs) as needed and establish a centralized repository for all IIA Reviews for Procurement that aggregates of all the active Innovation projects impacting ingredients within McCormick facilities.

Job Purpose.-
Support new launches at Tenneco Tepotzotlan assuring the supply chain material for new projects to meet the customer requirements. - Highlight/ Red flag to SU on Supply plan gaps, shipping document delays which can impact order/delivery service level KPI’s.
- Accountable for resolving issues like Supply delays, document errors and shortage/damage claims.
- MIS Reporting on monthly and quarterly view of Open orders, Supply plan, Sales, Ambition and Supply Chain Service rate
- Coordinate with UI Logistics & Global Freight procurement team for New Lanes creation.
Profile.-
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering ).
