**PURPOSE**:
Works in most of the activities with instructions about the general results that are expected. Can receive technical orientation in the most unusual or complex problems; generates solutions in an independent manner. Works with problems of different reaches, in which the analysis of the data requires the evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercises his/her judgment in practices and policies generally defined, at selecting methods and techniques for obtaining results. Failures and errors in the decisions he/she takes and recommendations that he/she makes could result in serious delays in the programs and projects, as well as in considerable spending of resources.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: **
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in a wide range of tasks assigned in related fields.
Takes decisions about problems and methods of engineering independently; represents the organization in conferences to solve important questions and to plan and coordinate work. Requires the use of advanced techniques, as well as the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of his/her branch, sciences and related disciplines. Supervision and guidance related to general requirements, critical issues, new concepts and issues related to policies.
Consults with supervisors about problems and development issues.
Is responsible for monitoring and other activities:
Plans, coordinates and manages an important engineering Project, or a reduced number of projects with complex characteristics.
As an individual researcher, performs complex tasks or of recent introduction that require the development of techniques or new, improved procedures.
It is expected that his/her work results in the development of equipment, materials, processes, products and new, refined methods.
As a specialist staff, develops and evaluates plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities that other persons will perform.
Evaluates the viability and solidity of the engineering evaluation tests proposed, of products and equipment when the necessary data is insufficient or when is advisable to perform the tests.
Serves as a staff consultant in the technical specialty, some type of installation or equipment, or the function of a program.
He/she is responsible for ensuring the compliance, personal and of the Company, with the federal, state and local regulations, policies and procedures corresponding to the areas of Health, Safety and
Environment.
Responsible for the purchasing or design of equipment that complies with the standards fixed by the Company in areas of health, safety and environment.
Responsible for performing performance revisions and pre-validation evaluations to ensure the adequate start of new processes.
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for ensuring subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
Performs other duties assigned as needed
**Qualifications**:
**QUALIFICATIONS: **
Engineering, any specialty.
Master’s in science is recommendable.
More than 9 years in a similar position, preferably.
Experience in the medical industry, preferably.
**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: **
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.

- Help define the areas to be improved, thus being part of the business diagnosis.

- Hands-on implementation of improvement projects related to their scope.
- Definition and replication of good examples and practices locally coming from improvements.

- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline. Preferably with a Master's Degree.

El objetivo principal del Líder de DPO para Logística es facilitar a los equipos locales en los países de la Zona Middle Americas (MAZ) la implementación del programa de excelencia de DPO, con el fin de mejorar los procesos y resultados de negocio de T2 Last Mile.
La principal responsabilidad es proporcionar la estrategia, las herramientas y la visibilidad del progreso del programa, permitiendo a las partes interesadas garantizar una implementación sostenible y alcanzar los objetivos de seguridad, servicio, productividad y costos en los centros de distribución.
Como Líder de DPO, será responsable de la coordinación con los líderes de DPO de las cinco unidades de negocio: México, Colombia, Perú, Ecuador y CAC. El puesto se encarga de apoyar la estrategia y definir las tácticas del programa de excelencia en T2 para garantizar la implementación eficiente y eficaz de los procesos.
También será responsable de impulsar el desempeño y el desarrollo profesional de los coaches directos e indirectos del equipo de DPO, incluyendo especialistas, líderes y analistas.
Principales Funciones:
- Facilitar la estrategia, las tácticas y las herramientas del DPO para las cinco unidades de negocio de la zona, garantizando así el logro de los resultados de los procesos y los KPI.
- Coordinar con el equipo del DPO de las cinco unidades de negocio, incluyendo gerentes, especialistas, analistas y coaches, para asegurar la implementación exitosa del programa de excelencia operativa.
- Apoyar el desempeño y el desarrollo profesional del equipo del DPO de la zona y las unidades de negocio, estableciendo objetivos, brindando retroalimentación e identificando oportunidades de crecimiento y desarrollo.
- Coordinar y dar seguimiento a las células del DPO para apoyar y ayudar con los objetivos específicos relacionados con la autonomía, la gestión, la tecnología y los incidentes críticos.
- Gestionar el CAPEX y OPEX del equipo del DPO, asegurando que los proyectos se ejecuten a tiempo, dentro del presupuesto y cumpliendo con las especificaciones requeridas.
- Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales para identificar oportunidades de crecimiento y generar valor para las partes interesadas en las cinco unidades de negocio de MAZ.
- Garantizar el cumplimiento de los medios del DPO y las políticas y mejores prácticas de SKPI, promoviendo la calidad y precisión de los datos para identificar oportunidades de mejora en los programas de excelencia logística.
- Definir el roadmap, backlog y las prioridades del equipo, asegurando la alineación entre las necesidades del negocio y las soluciones del DPO.
Requisitos:
Nivel Educativo: Licenciatura en Administración e Ingeniería Industrial o afines.
Conocimientos técnicos: Sólidos conocimientos y experiencia en gestión de procesos y programas de excelencia profesional. Experiencia en distribución, almacén, calidad, seguridad y mejores prácticas en la última milla.
Dominio de herramientas de datos como Excel Avanzado, Power BI (Indispensable)
Soft Skills: Sólidas habilidades de liderazgo, comunicación y colaboración. Capacidad para gestionar y motivar equipos. Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico, priorizar tareas y gestionar múltiples proyectos simultáneamente. Sólidas habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
Experiencia mínima: al menos 5 años de experiencia relevante en excelencia operativa, logística, transporte, distribución.
Conocimiento adicional: Familiaridad con excelencia operativa, sistemas de gestión y metodologías de resolución de problemas. Otras herramientas de visualización de datos.
