Mid-level networking troubleshooting skills and extensive knowledge of web connectivity and protocols (WCCP, PAC files, TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, Telnet, SSH, etc.)
Understanding the integration with authentication protocols such as LDAP, IWA, IWA-direct, SSO, Active directory
At least two mid-level certifications in Network Security from any of the vendors like Cisco, Palo Alto, BlueCoat, SourceFire (PCNSE, CCNP Security etc.)
Over 6 years of network troubleshooting experience and at least 2 years Network Security administration and design experience

We are looking for an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with a large enterprise network. + Issue Resolution and Support (30%) - Provide advanced technical support for incident and problem resolution, acting as an escalation point for complex issues. Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to resolve network-related issues promptly. Use network management tools to analyze network traffic and identify root causes of performance bottlenecks.
+ Network Requests (20%) - Participate in the review and completion of service requests for the network infrastructure. Ensure that all requests are resolved within documented SLAs.
+ Documentation and Compliance (10%) - Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, processes, and service records.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to network operations. Conduct regular reviews and audits of network security measures and protocols.

Qualifications & Experiences:
+ 5-8 years of experience in network administration or operations in a complex network environment.
+ Extensive experience with various network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), network operating systems, and network hardware platforms.
+ Extensive experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, etc.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in using network management and analysis tools like
+ SolarWinds, Wireshark, or similar.
+ Hours of work will be 10am to 6pm weekdays local time
+ Minimal travel anticipated for this position
+ Must have the legal right to work in Mexico

**About this role**
**As a Network Operations Engineer, you will:**
+ Provide 1st/2nd line technical support & incident management, monitoring for circuits and hardware. Report and track carrier issues, hardware RMA's etc.
+ Manage operational network maintenance activities and implement changes
+ Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems
+ Assist with root cause analysis of incidents
+ Assist with periodic network reviews and analysis
+ Help with establishment of operational procedures & support documentation
+ Review, track and update network operations policies, standards and documentation
+ Assist with development of the network management platform adoption, configuration and tuning
+ Complete Daily network checks and operational handover duties
+ Participate in shift rotation coverage
**What You'll Need:**
+ 2+ years' experience in IT infrastructure operations/support role
+ Knowledge of network routing and switching technologies and routing protocols
+ Experience with various Cisco equipment (routers, switches)
+ Experience with Checkpoint, Cisco firewalls, load balancers and WAN accelerators is desirable
+ Experience in scripting and programming skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform) is preferred
+ Formal technical certification such as CCNA/CCNP
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required.
