PERFIL
- Ing. Química, Ing. Industrial o afín.
- Conocimiento avanzado en Gestión de Proyectos de Mejora.
- Certificación Yellow Belt, Green Belt.
- Conocimiento Lean Manufacturing, Design Thinking, Six Sigma, Minitab.
- Instructor de grupos.
- Experiencia mínima de 2 años en puesto similar.
CONOCIMIENTOS REQUERIDOS EN:
- Control Estadístico de Procesos (SPC).

JOB SUMMARY:
Working under the framework of the Polaris Production System (PPS), leads continuous improvement initiatives, assesses current business performance, identifies gaps, establishes and implements improvement plans, monitors progress, and shares / acquires best-in-class ideas and processes. Responsible for Lean project execution. Ensures the facilities obtain budgetary goals set for lean manufacturing projects through partnering with campus production teams and management. Trains production teams, plans and executes lean workshops, and documents and reports results.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Facilitate cross-functional expert teams to drive breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance in Safety,
Quality, Delivery, Material Flow, and Cost.
· Value Stream Analysis (Current and Future State Value Stream Mapping).
· Develop Future State vision and implementation plan.
· Support other C.I. initiatives, including best practice implementation, while striving to improve Business
Metrics.
· Coach team members in understanding Lean principles.
· Assist in the gathering of PPS Assessment data. Collaborate with Lean Manager to improve Lean-relevant
metrics.
· Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and
assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality and savings goals.
· Assist Lean Manager in any strategic initiative that will help in compliance to standards, implementing new
systems, and designing creative solutions that will continuously improve the campus
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience required. Prior manufacturing experience. Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations. Has solid leadership skills and strong lean systems expertise. Has a solid understanding of manufacturing and lean principles, including Process Controls, Heijunka, SMED, VSM, Kanban, GEMBA & Material flow. Intermediate computer skills (experience with Excel and Power BI are desirable). Has sufficient experience within the company to be able to understand the organization and its business products and processes. A strong interest in process and quality improvement and the ability to provide leadership desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and presentation skills. Has demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority.

**Role Purpose**
Provides subject matter expertise in engineering that improves product, process and/or equipment performance (cost, quality and service) and/or advances the innovation process to enable the delivery of new products. Provides solutions for increased process selects, increased material utilization, decreased costs, and improvement to product quality by planning, organizing and implementing projects. Is a leader in obtaining fundamental process understanding and meeting the lowest cost producer objectives
Designs and analyses first generation / next generation products, processes and/or equipment in support of a new product / technology introduction. Maintains knowledge of the latest developments in their area of expertise in order to identify and document any intellectual property developed as part of a project
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provides leadership in problem solving, and technical expertise, to ensure timely resolution of short-term process and equipment issues, and higher level troubleshooting
+ Provides direction to other technicians / engineers, coaches junior engineers, and provides guidance to maintenance personnel
+ Provides general engineering and manufacturing skills and knowledge (understands theories and fundamentals), and capable of leading projects to get to root cause of issues, and put permanent solutions in place

This role is responsible for leading Lean transformation activities at our Monterrey Mexico manufacturing site. Reporting centrally to a Central Lean Director, this role will partner with Monterrey plant leadership on Lean priorities, including model lines deployments, Polaris Production System implementation, and embedding Lean culture throughout the site.
This role requires a deep understanding of Lean principles and methodologies, as well as the ability to implement strategic changes that enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Candidates should have prior experience leading Lean/Six Sigma/TPS transformation projects. This thought leader will act as a coach and mentor by working closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Successful candidates will develop deep expertise in this role that may, in time, be deployed at other sites within the Polaris manufacturing network and supply chain. The ideal candidate will initially reside in Monterrey Mexico, with the flexibility and desire to relocate for future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and Implement Lean Strategies: Lead the development and execution of lean transformation strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
+ Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement culture by implementing lean tools and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, and Standard Work.
+ Training and Development: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on lean principles and methodologies. Mentor and coach team members to build lean competencies.
+ Process Optimization: Identify and eliminate waste in processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
+ Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of lean initiatives and track progress towards objectives.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering, to ensure the successful implementation of lean projects.
