You'll be coaching the ART leadership roles, like the Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Product Management, as well as supporting the teams within the train. You should be a hands-on practitioner who understands the challenges ARTs face and has a toolkit of techniques to help them navigate those challenges. You'll work closely with other coaches and stakeholders across the organization, contributing to our overall Agile journey and ensuring alignment with our standards, including SAFe and PDO.

Your focus will be on optimizing ART execution, fostering servant leadership, and embedding SAFe principles and Lean-Agile practices.
+ Guide Program Backlog Management: Coach and facilitate the continuous refinement and elaboration workflows necessary to maintain a healthy and well-understood Program Backlog. This includes helping Product Management and teams break down Epics into Features and ensure features are ready for planning and execution.
+ Enable Effective PI Planning: Coach the ART in preparing thoroughly for Program Increment (PI) Planning events. You will also assist with the execution, coordination, and alignment activities during PI Planning itself, helping the ART establish clear objectives and dependencies.
+ Support Key ART Events: Guide and support the ART in preparing for and conducting other crucial SAFe events within the PI cadence, such as System Demos, the Inspect & Adapt (I&A) workshop, Scrum of Scrums (SoS), and Product Management Syncs.
+ Facilitate ART Performance Reporting: Coach the ART in developing meaningful reporting and status updates for PI progress, risks, impediments, and accomplishments. You'll help them communicate effectively with ART management and stakeholders.
+ Align Feature Delivery: Collaborate and coach the ART on how to effectively work with enterprise Release Management or other relevant functions to ensure alignment and coordination of feature deliveries across the broader organization.
+ Promote SAFe Consistency: Work collaboratively with other ARTs, the Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), and the broader coaching community to facilitate the consistent implementation, alignment, and continuous improvement of SAFe standards and best practices across the organization, adhering to PDO standards where applicable.
+ Coach individual teams within the ART on Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile practices as needed.
+ Help the ART identify, escalate, and remove systemic impediments.
+ Foster a culture of relentless improvement and high performance within the ART.
+ Guide the ART in understanding and utilizing ART-level metrics to measure flow, quality, and value delivery.
+ Champion Lean-Agile mindset and behaviors throughout the ART.
+ Prepare and deliver training sessions or workshops tailored to the ART's specific needs.

+ Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and conflict resolution.
+ Experience utilizing agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps) for managing program backlogs, features, and ART flow.
+ Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to evolving business and ART needs.
